Title says it all. Just wondering what kind of deals people found at Botcon this year. I found the following:

Henkei Crystal Convoy for $100
Henkei Wildrider for $120
Predaking Giftset $200

I only had enough to buy the crystal convoy. By the time I came back from the ATM the rest were gone. Kicked myself for not getting the giftset Predaking.

 

There were deals at Botcon? It seems to me most of the prices I saw at Botcon were higher than Ebay prices (excluding shipping costs).

 

The best deals was ROTF figures at the club store compared to the same items on sale at the dealers floor.

 

The best deals I got were:
G1 slag-$15
G1 swindle-$5

 

Yeah, BBTS had ROTF Leader Prime for $70 while the club had it for around retail.

 

I don't understand the logic in the vendors still selling ROTF toys for above retail when you can buy it not to far away at a much cheaper price. It's not like they will become rare the 1st few days of release date.

I've been looking for one but they are all selling for 350+ on ebay... sucks. I love the figures and i used to have Predaking a few years ago but its not worth that much.

 

Wildrider for 120!? Musta been bought within the first hour of the dealer room opening... because that was on top of my list of things to buy.

 

I found like NOTHING I was looking for. I got Henkei Smokescreen for 28 dollars, and that was it for me besides a Tracks shirt from Stylin Online's booth. Everything I saw at the show was at ebay prices or above.

I was there for the super-preview and saw ZERO Henkei Red Alerts or Wild Riders, Legends Warpath (not the Henkei one), or Stampy/Break from Beast Wars Neo.

 

BBTS was selling "The Fallen" voayger figure for $45 . . . I bought one the very next day after Botcon closed at Target for $20. It's incredible some people bought the ROTF figures for nearly a 100% increase in price.

 

In BBTS's defense, The Fallen is still kinda hard to come by at retail, and they're going to have to eat the cost of a LOT of Ratchets that are going to sit in their warehouse and gather dust now in order to get those cases with The Fallen.

 

This. I was there for the three hour sales preview and had the hardest time finding any of the G1 figures I was looking for or found them at rediculous prices.

Best deal I got the entire show was an Encore Omega Supreme reissue for 65 while everyone else wanted 85 or more. I also got a Cerebros for 90 although I am not sure if that was a deal or not.

 

G1 Superion. Loose, complete, with gift set version instruction booklet, and in excellent condition for $100. Although I did not pick one up, TFSource had Encore #15 Cassette Set for $35.

 

No, actually I bought mine on Sunday for the same price. You just had to look, I also got Crystal Prime for $100. Very good prices IMO. I also got Henkei Thrust and Dirge for $100!!! Finally I got three Japanese exclusive headmasters at let's just say way way below ebay prices. There were definately deals to be had if you just looked hard enough.

I'm happy with my Henkei Dinobot & Hound for $20 and $25 respectively. Also my large handful of accessories scored at both the parts party and in the dealers room.

 

deals at the parts party....now that is what i like to hear!!!!!

 

at the end of the show I bought tfsources display sunstorm figure for 45$ when it was on display it was missing the small wing and missles, but when he gave me the box it had all the parts and stickers inside ,since I open my toys and play err display them, it was a hell of a deal (even though thier 60$ deal was awesome on the toy to begin with) also 32 seeker bodies with some wings for 1$ each as my first deal of the day was great too.

 

Tail end when they put out a few more actually. They were $100 at opening.

My best deals would probably be the $100 MISB Sky Garry. Or the $260 NRFB BotCon 1998 Antagony. Your pick...

 

- Superlink Fire Grand Convoy (loose/mint/complete w/ instructions) and Black Rodimus Convoy (MISB) for $80. I usually see them for at least $80 EACH.
- G1 Camshaft (loose/NM/complete and TIGHT) for $20.

Say WHAT?! Where did you find that awesome deal?
