Hey, I'm not the one wanting simplified G1 figures from 3Ps who know the market for that is super small and therefore won't touch it. As far as I care, 3P s are already making "CHUG" sized figures, but that's all about how you want to see scale.

And you would know this, how?

It almost seems like you have nothing to back that up, and you just pulled it out of your ass.

Devcon, Straxus, Jhiaxus, Scrounge, Firecons & Sparkabots, Other gun robo designs, other F-15 Jet varients, a decent F-15 that is Voyager size (Maketoys isn't quite up to scratch), & snything that isn't G1 - is a huge untapped area that is remaining relatively unfarmed at the moment.

Hasbro's Cyberverse line has just confirmed how bored to tears I am with the 1984 cast over and over and over.
It makes me want G2 & European era stuff just to be contrarian about it.

Which makes me want ; Stalker, Calcar, The Turbomasters, The Sky Scorchers, Pyro and so on.

God, I love to see that POTP Optimus retooled into Thunderclash. That could be so amazing!

More Toyhax character conversion kits like X-Tinguisher, Skyjack etc.
I think they got a good thing going on there.
I'd like to see them try more of that stuff.

Awkward proportions, weird design choices, dumb gimmicks, looks hardly anything like the character...

Maybe they're taking the homage to G1 toys a little too literally.

Even the 80's Grimlock has a better dino mode than that, though! Fortunately, I don't think there's any worry of him being skimped on 3p toys in the future.

Guys, you should know by now arguing about scale is a beacon to cause me to appear in threads and proclaim the inevitable demise of the MP scale once it hits the end of characters people care about. Also to frown upon people asking why certain companies haven't made certain market flooding figures, as we really don't need another party jumping into the Devastator ring unless they're bringing something wildly new to the table. And to judge every Grimlock except those designed with a proper modern T-rex stance as inadequate and unworthy of anyone's time

Regardless though, Deathsaurus. Seriously guys, where's our Deathsaurus figure?

Even though I'm not going to collect them, I think it would be a shame if the MP scale totally died after all the amazing figures that have been made. I expect it to continue, even if it's in the form of companies jumping on Beast Wars.

I have a "More options, the better attitude", but fair enough. We either get new Devastators, or we don't.

There are options for all of these characters.

Perhaps not to your liking but the characters have been done.

Transformers Prime figures,if we would pay $150 for Breakdown nowadays, don't see why this couldn't be profitable.

I saw a few like this. I understand if something is not up to your personal expectations, but to say it hasn't been done is.. weird.
That's not a surprise (unless you didn't know about the figure in question).

Just reading through this thread, I'm surprised we haven't gotten a voyager Shockwave/Soundwave. I don't even want them, but I've seen people bring them up before. Though MP Shockwave does a good job of being small enough to pass in a voyager display.

I would say I'm surprised some obscure car former hasn't been made, but I'm not. 3P wants to make money, not cater to my niche desires.
I'll say an MP Nightbeat (possibly Runamuck/Runabout) is a surprise in his lack of appearance.

There are already official versions so for
many collectors, they have been done.

Why would a 3P bother with a niche character when there is already a decent (I say that loosely) option available?

Yeah, I didn't specify (fixed), but to coincide with MP carbots. Voyager in height, and 1/32 scale car.
But yeah, I don't expect them to bother, though I think IGEAR and KFC hinted at Runabout/Runamuck MP size.
