GI Joe / Transformers cross overs, where a JOE can fit inside the Transformer. It could be scaled down Joe. That would be fine for me.

I just don't think GI Joe is a big thing like Transformers overseas, so I don't see 3rd Party makers making this to just satisfy the US fan base.

I'm surprised no company just started making dedicated Combiner Wars Limbs. I could have seen someone making Scourges in sets of 3, or just doing other characters as mix and match limbs for Optimus and Cyclonus. I guess people aren't as into the play patterns as I was but I had hoped that a smaller 3P company would have been doing toys that integrated with CW/TR/PoTP besides the add ons (which I love).

Actually now that I mention add ons, what happened to our TR modular storage tanks/gun plat forms and exo suits, those looked awesome!

How about an Ark toyset? Not just a background, but an honest-to-goodness Ark playset with removable panels and such that would allow you to recreate scenes from G1 along with a Teletran One satellite.

I'm not surprised that so few third party companies have tackled the Pretenders, but I am surprised that almost all modern interpretations of the Pretenders have been so unambitious. Not only is it a pretty ill-defined process in fiction (So there are lots of ways to experiment with the idea), but toy designers stuffing smaller robots into larger articulated shells/armor has basically been perfected into an art form at this point so it's not like you could make the excuse that the engineering just doesn't exist yet

    baikanfu.jpg baikanfu1.jpg godannar.jpg godmars.jpg godmars1.jpg Exkaiser.jpg

Just imagine that with a Mini-Con sized inner robot or even a skinny Legends class and the shell wouldn't have to be cumbrously large and bulky

Not to mention all the actual examples of this in Transformers itself with similar mech turducken-ing like Star Saber or Energon Optimus Supreme. Is there really any good excuse not to at least make an attempt at this point?

Yeah, thing was from 2010. Last I saw it, going for like $500. No way is it worth that!

But I agree, I am surprised no one remade that piece. It'd sell like hot cakes, especially if they got rid of the QC issues. And also did a Decepticon one.

I wish someone had come up with a regular, non-headmaster head for TR/Takara Legend Scourge. His current head is too wide and boxy for him and a new toon accurate narrower head could be left on with no partsforming during transformation, just turn the head around 360.

TFC could have made a Deathcobra to go along with the rest of their not-Liokaiser team.
FP never made a Venom to go along with the rest of the deluxe insecticons.
There were a ton of upgrades for Generations Metroplex but just a handful for Fort Max (no Cog!) and I fear little to nothing for TR Trypticon (toyhax dir make some radar dishes and stickers but I need a Brunt tank).

It’s not perfect but there is a shapeways piece that can do this that specifically fits scourges faceplate

Not really surprised since it's kinda niche, but Dawn of Future's Past-esque figures. BW characters with vehicle modes would be something I'd definitely buy. But again, not really surprising this hasn't happened. Not sure there's much of a demand.

What I am surprised about is that we haven't seen modernized straight-up remakes of the G1 toys. I'm not a diehard G1 fan, but even I'd think the G1 figures with modern-day engineering (articulation, mainly) would be super cool. Some may say this is what the MP line is, but no. MP figures have fairly involved transformations, not to mention being more toon accurate than toy accurate. I'm saying have the figure look nigh-identical to the original toy, just with the added articulation. That'd be cool. And seems like something the G1 fanbase would shit their pants over.

I'd be all over it that is for sure. I know I have seen other's comment that they would like to see more playsets. Ark and Deception cruiser playset would be awesome.

I'll echo what a few have said on here voyagers of Shockwave & Soundwave. Also a proper chug Trailbreaker, oh man I'd throw money at those all day.

If they could make Pretenders with the level of articulation of the SOC Baikanfu I would be all over those!
