Yea why do you ask? Just because I randomly started hitting my head up against a brick wall but then my head started hurting so I decided to drink a bit to numb the pain. Well, I must have had a bit much to drink because I wanted to slap you in the back of the head for writing yet another WTF is up with Preorders of MP Prime, but then realized that a stick would do more damage. However as I sobered up I decided to so something a bit more constructive with said stick... On a more serious note. There are 2 orders for MP Prime one small one large. The first sold out the second is just filtering into stores and well be heading to there web warehouse soon. Yes it was mishandled but all the Hasbro "get your shit together" threads in the world is NOT going to help. BTW This "mishandling" has NOTHING to do with Hasbro just so you know.
The one thing I dislike most about the situation is that Toys R Us isn't even acknowledging that they screwed it up. I've emailed them about the original October 15th release date, they said it was scheduled to ship on the 23rd from the beginning. Other people have emailed customer support and have been told November 5th, Novermber 15th, and so on, all different dates from different reps. Now I'm not upset with the reps, they tell us what they know. I'm just frustrated with their higher-ups keeping them, and thus us, in the dark and basically making up info. I mean, in the grand scheme of things this preorder debacle is just a minor annoyance, but only because part of me *knows* that Toys R Us could be handling it better.
... There's nothing wrong. The toy is JUST coming out. You see how Thundercrackers are saturating in right now? That's MP-10 a month from now. Hot ticket toys just in time for the Christmas season? YOU DON'T SAY.
Only thing I don't like is them charging me up front rather than when it ships. Otherwise it's just a toy. Plus I'll be busy cleaning up the hurricane mess around the shore, not even near my priority list.
I live also right by LBI. There shore is F ed up and it's sad what happend but every were else this got alittle bit of water in the house. I didn't get it to bad alittle of water in the house of 3 things broke on the house and that's it. + CRASH my car because the morning before the storm I got some food and stopped at toys r us and they still didn't have the guy in stock. Didn't know that there was another guy in NJ on TFW LoL
You got lucky then escaping the damage, glad to hear you are ok! My company offered me a spot at our HQ in Tennessee so i held off on moving to Red Bank and I'm still in Piscataway. I probably would have lost my car and boat, along with my stuff, had I moved there as originally planned...amazing how stuff works out. Looks like there are a few in NJ, we post up sightings in the respective forum. Going down to Neptune today to help volunteer
