I might pick up some of the TFC reissues but don't want to get any that have a chance of being reissued under the Encore line. I'm thinking its pretty safe that most of the carbots, blitzwing, insecticons will be encore'd. But what about Perceptor, Blaster, Kup? How did they sell? Is something wrong with me if I like the Kup figure?
Hopefully all of them because I missed the TFC line and dont want to pay secondary market for them. Glad about the minibots because I really wanted that set and now I dont have to pay up the ass for a TFC. Thank you Encore.
Kup, probably. I wanted to pick it up... but I ended up deciding on a Blitzwing instead (loose, complete, hopefully in good shape, just bought it on eBay tonight)... I wanted the Triplechanger more. Of course, I don't think Blitzwing will be "Encored" either. I think Perceptor and Blaster have a better chance of getting another reissue than Kup, though, being pre-movie. Don't think any movie/post-movie toys have gotten Encores... could be wrong, too tired to look it up right now. I think Hot Rod is probably the only 86-and-on toy that has a chance of getting an Encore release. Like the character or not... he did have a pretty sweet toy that, aside from the head, was pretty close to the cartoon.
I don't think they'll re-reissue the Insecticons in Encore. Others that probably won't get released are Hound, Skids, Soundblaster (duh), Perceptor, and Blaster. All of the others I'd say are fair game. I'm still hoping for Encore Scorponok, Shockwave, any of the Gestalts, Trailbreaker, and the Dinobots.
i hope not hotrod....he's been released twice already in the g1 style packaging and then as TM hot rod. i'm hoping for different molds like they did with sky lynx and omega. maybe blurr?
Blaster, Kup, Perceptor, Astrotrain, Inferno (Inferno never sells), Ricochet (sold poorly in every nation he was ever reissued in)
