Just beat the Hall of Fame induction (on Expert) with my friend (he was on Bass and I was on Guitar).

Whew was that a challenge (well a few songs, Highway Star, Flirtin' with Disaster (hate this song), and Run to the Hills to some extent (the solo is a bit tough and bass seemed killer))

We're gonna go for the Endless Setlist/All Day Concert on expert this weekend, though odds are we'll switch off guitar and bass every so many songs just to keep us sorta fresh (it's like..5 hours of (sorta) nonstop playing).

Also have my FC achievements for Guitar and Bass (Vocals and Drums are gonna be hell to get though)

 

Do Sabotage for vocals. It's all talking.

 

Some nice choices here that I agree with. One song I REALLY want to drum is "The Pretender" by the Foo Fighters, is just sounds fun.

I would dig more punk stuff. More Ramones. More Clash. Throw in some Operation Ivy/Rancid, maybe some Home Grown. Bosstones would be killer.

 

I tried it..was able to beat the song on expert, and had a decent streak going.

Definitely easier than singing (I can't for the life of me get my voice to the right pitch for a lot of songs), but still gonna take a lot of work.

And Drums scares the hell outta me, that is gonna be painful.

Saw the announcement on Friday.

Very indifferent to it, as I don't care for Boston.

Picked up the Thrash Pack along with Shockwave last night. Only song I could beat was D.O.A.

Thrasher is brutal, one of the hardest songs in the game, I'd say overall it is comparable to TtFatF (which really, the intro is the single hardest part).

I really like Blinded by Fear, great song, and I can kinda play most of it.

Shockwave from the week before is an awesome 80's metal-esque song, not too hard until the second solo, which is evil.

Hoping with next week being the start of April, and April Fool's Day, we get ourselves some nice "joke" songs. Like say...Still Alive, MMPR, and something else (heavy metal Ghostbusters theme plx).

Not to be off topic but I can't find the old Rock band thread.

Who ever handles replacements is my best friend.

First my 360 guitar strum bar was broken, sent in for a speedy replacement. Mailed back the busted one but the replacement had issues too. Did the slow replacement method this time (they send you an empty box, you send the busted one back and when they recieve it a new one is shipped to you), my "Empty Box" arrived and it had a replacement guitar. A week later I get a second guitar with no prepaid return slip. Free 360 guitar for me.

Two weeks ago my brother-in-laws foot pedal on his PS2 version broke. I gave him mine (foot pedals are universal) and took the busted one home. Filled out the form for the slow replacement method for a PS2 pedal. My "Empty Box" comes in and it has a replacement foot pedal in it so I send back my busted one a few days later.

Today the UPS man drops off a decent sized box. I was expecting some media furniture but this was to small. Pop it open and its PS2/3 drum set minus the drum sticks and pedal. No return slip with this either, just a packing slip that says PS3 Drum Pedal. Free drum set for me, I'll just have buy the PS3 version ($30 used) and share sticks/pedal between the two systems.

 

I know! They finally listen to the sock!

Still Alive will be made available (for the 360, as no content will be up for the PS3 for a few weeks due to Sony working on the marketplace), for FREE.
