"Where is my goddamn shoe?"
Steve wakes up and its all a dream.
Personally I'm fine without a post-credits scene. Optimus and the Autobots walking through the Space Bridge to their newly restored homeworld is a perfect ending to the episode, the season, and the series.
. It totally works for the movie though. Picture it...
Knock-Out is eaten by Predaking half-way through the movie. In an after credits scene, he cuts his way out and demands to know where the pair of shoes he had just bought are.
I agree with this, but-
-I could certainly make an exception for something like this
I wanted a post credits scene like they did with GI Joe Renegades.
Nonono not Predaking. Just a big Predacon.
Breaks his way out and growls
"Where is my GOD DAMN BUFFER"
In fact, the entire plot of Predacons Rising just needs to be Pacific Rim. Instead of Jaegers they have spiky armor. It just works.
And Unicron takes the place of Slattern.
None of those scenarios says "this series is finished," which is why nothing like that was used.
What you offer up is cliffhanger-like material.
For a show wanting to close doors without leaving an iota of hope of a sequel, they got the job done.
Especially if they did it with the cast of Animated That would cause some fanrage though
I'm more than happy with the season finale as-is. Doesn't tie everything up, but makes for a great ending, imho. This way if the movie sucks, I can ignore it and just get the three seasons. I don't imagine it will suck, but if it does, this will work fine enough as an ending for me.
That would be gold
Ok credits are over and we scan to a space ship in orbit around earth. Look inside we see the dinobots inside. "ME Snarl think we too late"
Grimlock turns and looks at Snarl. "Me am king of Dinobots and leader Optimus needs us. Me Grimlock going to help bigbot."
My imaginary ending was
*fades to a shot of the empty Nemesis*
Knock Out: "Hello...? Helloooo...???"
They never do say what happens to him after Miko knocks him out.
Awe, I had hoped someone would like my Impactor recruits Arcee into the Wreckers, but it might have been too subtle.
Someone please clue me in on the reference?
After credit scene of
I would've liked perhaps a brief scene of Ratchet, the kids, June and Fowler going for ice cream in the rebuilding Jasper. The last shot is of the group on a hill at sunset - the same hill Cliffjumper drove over in the opening moments of the first episode. And then the camera pans up in reverse to the pan down from the sky.
Just to bookend it.
