I really like my 20th Anniversary Masterpiece Optimus Prime so I ask the question what do you think the next Masterpiece figure should be?

Personaly I think Megatron would make a great figure. I would like to see Megatron get the same attention to detail as the Masterpiece Optimus Prime. But not just any Megatron. I am personally fond of the G2 Megatron as a Tank.

The next Masterpiece should be Megatron or Soundwave with LaserBeak, Rumble and Ravage.

 

I like the focus on the Brave bots myself... so after Masterpiece Exkaiser and Dragon Kaiser, I'd like to see the MPB line move on to:

Fighbird/Granbird
Dagarn X/Gaohn
Pegasus Saber
Might Gaine/Kaiser/Gunner
J Decker/Duke Fire
Goldran/Leon Kaiser/Sokrage
Fire Dagwon/Power Dagwon
Gaogaigar/Goldymarg

But I'll settle for just Pegasus Saber.

Personally, I'm not going to drop another $75 on a Masterpiece figure unless it's Hot Rod and/or Rodimus Prime.

 

I say Megatron as a GUN! Yes GUN! hopefully with it being larger they couldn't use that it looks to much like a real gun Crap. I mean Cops ain't that smart but if you can't tell the difference from a real gun and a Larger Megatron Masterpiece gun you deserve to go to Jail for shooting that kid. And for those who are going to say good things about the cops: Doctors go to school for 5 yrs Lawyers go to school for 4 yrs Teachers go for 3 to 4 yrs yet Police men only go to the Academy for 6 months anyone can be a cop. Even stupid People.

True it doesn't take much brains to be a cop anymore, but that's mostly because it's a dangerous job and they don't have alot of people that actually want to do it.

As for Megs as a gun... the simple fact is it would still fall under the guidelines (which is actually different for every single state) for toy guns... so it doesn't matter what size he is. He's a gun and to be released in every state... he'd have to become a member of the NY Nicks.

I totaly say either Megs or Galvatron... I mean, all they would really need to do with Galvatron is modify the current mold, add the Energon/Super Link Megs/Galy head to it with more slight modification, and ther ya go..... ok maybe its not so easy.... but it would maybe look a little better than what it does now..

 

Starscream. So we can get some MP seeker repaints like we did with Ultra Magnus.
Plus large die cast G1 jets would so rock.

Soundwave would be cool , keep him retro so they can so some little MP tapes. Of course half of them would probably be $100plus exclusives.

A true pistol-to-rifle MP Megatron would be a dream, but yeah only in them.

Would also like to see Rodimus Prime. He deserves it since his leadership was cut short in G1. He needs a proper tribute for some well deserved respect.

 

Cybertron Thundercracker...(seriously), come on, this characters figure had so much potential, but they managed to screw up his legs, feet and cannon arm, i say, a huge diecast Thundercracker with extending Thunder Cannon ( activated with cyber key)

 

Galvatron would be at number one, with grimlock and starscream coming up next then maybe the likes of shockwave and skyfire.

 

Optimal Optimus

 

Hotrod, Starscream or Galvatron (in that order).

Ideally it would be Starscream, allowing hastak to recoup mold costs by repainting as Skywarp and Thundercracker. Besides, after Megatron and Prime, no other transformer is as well known as Starscream. Hell, you might argue that he's more recognizable than Megs to a large audience.

Rodimus Prime makes sense in Japan, but less sense in North America. Still, being a fan, I would love to see them do an MP Hot Rod with Conversion parts to make him Rodimus Prime.

The Gun VS Tank thing with Megatron would never be settled. IMO, Galvatron isn't quite MP worthy

 

If there's MP Starscream...it'd be the first MP I would buy.

 

ahh but which version of starscream, im guessing you mean the original version. But a mp version of the armada one would also kickass  

personally i would love to see a mp of Sixshot that would be awsome if they got all his transfomations perfect  

 

I've always thought that Starscream is the most logical choice, because of his popularity and the ability to do repaints that people would actually want.

Other than that, I would love to see an MP Rodimus Prime and Galvatron.

As far as Megs goes. I've more or less joined the group that would be satisfied with a very detailed and Action Master, as long as the cost is reasonable. For me, the most important part of a MP Megatron would be that his robot mode be as close to the G1 toon as possible. Unfortunately, we all know that a gun alt. mode will never happen. The robot mode of a Megatron with a tank alt. mode would only look somewhat like G1 Megatron at best(sort of how all the Primes looks similiar). So, I'd rather have a Megatron that looks like G1 Megatron and can't transform, than a Megatron that can transform, but doesn't really look like G1 Megatron.
