I recently finished watching season 3 of Cyberverse and it made me really appreciate Dead End, who I hadn't given much thought to until now. It reminded me of how I was pretty indifferent towards Swindle until his role in Animated and got me thinking of what other minor characters could benefit from a spotlight role in a cartoon. Personally, I'd like to see Hound or Mirage take center stage.

i love mirage, he just seems so cool.

personally, skywarp and thundercracker needs more character. something like idw.

for the autobots, prowl. prowl barely appears at all in the cartoons. other than prowl... springer... that bot's a badass.

 

Moonracer. I like her name, she’s a sharpshooter & she’s never gotten to do anything.

Skywarp. For such a prominent seeker, he does very little. He’s the Boba Fett of Transformers. He’s got a cool look & a cool teleporting ability & does next to nothing else.

 

Maybe the Protectobots or Technobots

 

Let's see...

Nightbeat, Minerva, Nautica and Siren should become regular Autobot cast members for a series. Rodimus as well. He needs another shot at being the leader (but not like the IDW version, which sometimes went pretty out-of-character).

On the Decepticon side, I think the Battlechargers, Deluge, Quake and the Seacons deserve more love.

 

Prowl

 

Dreadwind,Cogman(Go ahead-FIGHT ME), Skybyte and Skylynx(haven't seen him in a while).

 

Waspinator or Ironhide because he needs some more TV and/or film love.

 

Crosswise

 

Hot Rod. It'd be awesome to get him as a main cast member from the start and develop into a leader.

 

Skylynx and Blurr.

 

Kup, Blaster, or Swindle. Although there's plenty more that I think could work.

 

The 6 seekers from the original cartoon, with an emphasis on how Thundercracker had his doubts about the Decepticon cause (as per his toy bio).

Tripredacus Council:
I don't know about main role, but The Tripredacus Council was a greater scope villain in Beast Wars that we never got to. For anyone who wants to tell a story in the BW/BM timeline, The Tripredacus Council is a natural choice for a major role.

 

I'll second Mirage, Hound, Thundercracker, Jazz, the Protectobots, Tracks, and the Combaticons.

I would also like to see the Aerialbots (especially Silverbolt, Fireflight, and Skydive), Bluestreak, and the Stunticons (especially Breakdown and Wildrider) get large roles.

 

Cliffjumper but not killed immediately and voiced by Dwayne Johnson.
