I think this thread should be about what Lennox did wrong. I mean give the Allspark to a dude in a choppe? Really Because you'd seriously be able to escape with that? That made me say "wtf" the first time I saw it and males me shake my head in disapproval everytime I re-watch it.

Sam sucks. He is a douchebag. Michael Bay glorified the stereotypically white douchebag who dates all the hot girls and gets to help the Autobots. He's just as bad as Trent in the first movie, taking advantage of his damn car to score the super hot chick. I was hoping he'd sacrifice himself in the third one when the damn watch-bot latched himself onto his arm. He's a jerk, a don juan with a lack of morals, and ultimately a piece of garbage that the Autobots happen to respect due to some deluded sense of 'we must make friends with the first idiot we find'.

Lennox or Glen should have been the main protagonist. Sam should have stopped being important after ROTF.

Response to OP: How was Sam supposed to know Frenzy was still alive AND would land right next to his future girlfriend's purse? He was angry at the little bastard for stealing his pants and he wanted payback.

Agreed. Lennox is badass, and so is Epps. But at least in DOTM Sam became a detriment to the Autobots (the whole "unwilling spy for the Decepticons" thing) and then later had his balls drop when he went mano-a-mano with Dylan twice.

Considering Sam mentions that he's known her since I think Kindergarten, that's not an unlikely possibility...

Doubtful, since I think the first time he sees her is when he's at the White House.

Although I'm still trying to figure out how Carly goes from some high-level political person to Dylan's assistant.
