Could even tweak it a bit more and make it an "SG" Stunticon set.

 

I just like the idea of the Autobots having a car combiner. Maybe they reverse engineer the tech from the Stunticons to make their own car combination.

Well the idea is to redeco them using schemes other people would actually pay for and tradition shows that 99.9% of tf fans are so dead set on only accepting "official" designs that originality would be incredibly risky.

As awesome as a full black repaint would be and how badly I want one now this thread shows most people wouldn't dare step outside their comfort zone of "official only" colors and would much prefer to just get updates of already established things. Thus is the unfortunate downside of a fanbase ruled by majorities.

Really strange when you think about the endless possibilities of 3rd party figs, ala Steel Core etc.

 

On the subject of Steel Core, I would prefer if 3rd Party companies made more original figures than rehashes of what is missing in collections. It is obvious that these companies are highly skilled in design and engineering that they shouldn't focus solely on the Transformers world but also focus on the transforming robots world.

I guess a fickle fandom is the reason it doesn't happen nearly enough...

 

I am terrified those Autobot redecos might become a real thing.

The Autobot recolor is just superb!!! Great work!!!

I just don't know if keeping us dreaming about new recolors of a Robot/Combiner that is not even completely out is a very good idea...
We're all already so excited and in pain waiting for months for that bl--dy thing to come out...

Anyway that FP Menasor will just be the cherry on top of the cake sitting on my shelf next to Green Giant and FP Bruticus Asia Exclusive!!! ;-)

 

I want a repacking with diferents faces for each character similar to G1.
It is too much money to think in repaints.
Only one G1, well done.

After Necio's images, Love the autobot deco style even more now.

 

I am really impressed with Jazz and Mirage. They should release those whether they release a full Autobot combiner or not.

 

G2 is the only place where I'd HAVE to buy, but I'd be tempted by any of them, those Autobot digibashes are realllllly nice, I'd be hard pressed to ignore those if they became available.

The other version I'd feel compelled to plunk down cash for would be SixTurbo (well, 5 Turbo, I guess), you'd lose the motorcycle backpack (no real loss, and you'd have to do some creative Minverva-style sports-car-ambulance decoing, but I'd totally be down for this.
