The easiest way for me to answer is just to say that every G1 character who has yet to be revisited needs a new figure.

In fact, some that have bee revisited, like Doubledealer, need new figures, too.

He's not even a c-list. Maybe an e-list at best, but I love him. He's so unconventional looking.

 

What about a proper Scrounge, or Rung? Or Fulcrum? Or Devcon?

 

A Deathsaurus is mandatory in my mind. We got Overlord, so I can see some glimmer of hope. And I’m sure a Star Sabre will accompany him.

Depends what you term as "c-list". If that means non 84-85-movie cast, then easily (in order): Nightbeat (with his iconic "shades" face!), Bludgeon (done right), Thunderwing and the Throttlebots (love me some Throttlebots, thanks to Marvel US). Also the Battlechargers (faves of mine), as I don't know if they've *ever* had a decent toy since the 80's that wasn't a super rare exclusive (and yet often just a redeco) release? I also love the Action Masters, so Mainframe would be a "must-have" for me, too.

If that means "obscure": Pretenders (actually done properly, especially the second-wave Decepticons: Bludgeon, Octopunch and Stranglehold), second-wave Headmasters (Siren, Fangry, etc.)

If it means "super obscure", that's comic-only characters for me! I saw they made a "Scrounge" (sort of) but never thought we'd get one... but he looks rather rubbish. A proper one would be awesome, especially as he'd fit the Siege setting. I'd *love* a Macarbe, Ferak, Xaaron, Flame or even Straxus, but I'm not holding my breath.

Finally, I just bought Whirl and Roadbuster, as I love them as characters, but would love to see them and the Jumpstarters (Topspin & Twin-Twist) re-released under the much higher quality Siege line. Same with Battletrap, to match Flywheels (Skytread).

 

Oh, and Spinister! I totally want a Spinister! (One of my favorite Scavangers   )

 

I forgot... Fusion! Bluestreak's old pal on Cybertron who died (in a Marvel UK early annual story). He'd likely be a minibot futuristic tank-buggy-thing (Beachcomber retool maybe? Warpath?). Now that's an obscure dude (but not as obscure as Octane's dream girl, I'll admit!).

Also want to give some love for the Sparkler Mini-Bots: Fizzle, Sizzle and Guzzle!

Spinister and Needlenose (my love of those guys comes from the Marvel UK B&W run) were two I looked to see if they had a new toy in the past five years the moment I started buying TFs again!

 

I want studio series to continue until they've done every character that has appeared onscreen. Even ones that were entirely pointless (which is most of them).

In hindsight, the Action Masters would have been great in Siege. Make transforming versions of the Action Masters and make their partners into smaller scale weaponizers.

Snapdragon, my god, Snapdragon. Apeface too probably, but please Snapdragon...G1 Scorponok!!! Outraged at the lack of Titan class Scorpy. It’s his only chance to weigh in at the same class as Fort Max. And with Siege’s aesthetic, he’ll be covered in glorious sculpted detail. They made so many random characters headmasters but ignored originals like they never existed.

 

All the e-Hobby exclusive and Encore original cassettes. Most of the Encore ones got masterpiece repaints, like Stripes and Wingthing, but a ton of the e-Hobby ones don't. Like Flipsides, Howlback and Garboil, Solarbot,the Kiss Players Cassettes, and etcetera. Especially Howlback, cause 1. Female Decepticon 2. Female Cassette 3. Female version of the Ravage mold. I just want a precious Decepti-kitty gurl to sit on my desk.

 

It wouldn’t surprise me if that doesn’t happen a bit in the 3rd part. If they continue the Battlemasters throughout the line, we could get that. They said they planned on hitting missing characters from the later lines and fill in gaps...
