Those three would do me just fine. Don’t have to be official; but official or not, none of the options we’ve had so far have quite been what I’m after. Acoustic Wave *might* do, but we’re yet to really see it - and at this stage I think a TT V2 will happen first anyway.

I'm with you on those first 2. I loved those figures as a kid. I highly recommend Iron trans star saber. I've just sold mine as I'm downsizing, but it's a brilliant bot.

I don’t know, the Iron Trans Star Saber is halfway between MP Star Saber and what I really want so I decided against it.

 

The only Dinobot I'm missing is Slag. I don't feel like Cesium fits in with the rest of the Iron Dibots and I'm not paying $400+ for Scoria.

Well, I may be a MP-scale-collector, BUT: if Fanstoys actually release their Fort Max, and they, or some other company gave us a Metroplex, and a Trypticon at the same size (which is obviously not to scale), I would gladly take them, and call it a day. Trypticon, and Metroplex (and Unicron, of course) are just too big for a proper MP-scale-figure, therefore I´ll take "whatever is bigger than the MP-combiners, and looks G1-ish-enough for me".
On a side-note: When I started collecting MPs, I was just going for my favorite TFs... Nowadays, I preodered Bad Cube`s Evil Bug Corp (even though, I never liked the Insecticons), and I already got 2 of the six KFC-Junkions (I wasn`t even sure, if I actually want a Wreck-Gar). This hobby seems to enlarges itself one way, or the other... I went from "just my favorites", to "all G1", to "G1 including the japanise cartoons", to "...and beyond" with Ocular Max`s Star Convoy.
