• Super cartoon accurate Soundwave + cassettes. Not sold on FT Acoustic Wave as I want him to be as poseable as MP-44, so I’d prefer this to come from TT.
• Perceptor (Tesla 2.0 looks good for this)

• Better Toon accurate Huffer (FT?)

In terms of figures I want for my MP collection, I'd like everything from '84, then I'm picking and choosing from '85 upwards, and that way, if collections don't get complete releases for whatever reason (for example, the Autobot Headmasters), I'll just sell off the ones I've got. As of right now, there are only 6 "essential" characters that I don't have a figure of:
Bonecrusher
Hotspot
Superion
Runabout
Runamuck
Scorponok

Once I've got these, I'll consider my MP collection complete, and anything else I get is a bonus.

And just to go against the grain of this thread, they don't have to be FT figures.

 

As he's a G1 triplechanger that also appeared in toy form, why do you feel the chance is so low?

4. Brawl and Blackout. Would love to see original molds of these as the available Brawls are so flawed in my eyes, and I missed out on WJ BO.

6. Bonuses to get would be Sideswipe, Sideways and mpm scaled constructicons. Primarily Longhaul, Rampage and a Mixmaster that isn't Split.
7. While we're in dreamland I'm including Demolishor who's too big to ever be in scale and Jolt who even hasbro doesn't remember.

Well, to start with: The ever-decreasing ranks of MP companies have a hell of a lot of backlog to get through, for one thing. Secondly, he's a triple changer, so there's the extra engineering and general difficulty to deal with, not to mention the scale issues and disparity between his modes. And thirdly, ol' Boaty McPlaneface ain't the most popular character in the world, so why go through all that trouble for a niche character? It's quicker, easier and more profitable to just squirt out new versions of existing figures. I don't blame them for playing it safe in these trying times, but it definitely feels like the spark (pun not intended) has gone out of MP collecting, and a risky prospect like Broadside just won't be happening any time soon.

 

Boaty McPlaneface is now his canon name. I lol'ed at that!

For me, I'm limiting my goals to S1 with some S2 characters that I happen to enjoy. Here's what I need:

Figures that haven't been announced anywhere but are in need of upgrades include... Windcharger, Sideswipe, Inferno, Broadside, Sandstorm and the Technobots.
