Every thread I've taken part in where I say these are Movieverse, I get told they are Classics/Generations toys. THAT is what I was getting at.

Megs isn't really lacking for paint though - he's got a ton of silverwash. It's just that the paint apps are VERY subtle.

Sideswipe is in a whole other league concerning a lack of paint apps.

I usually stay away from toys with bad feedback.
High chance of stress marks, weak plastic, broken gimmicks etc.

The major reason I wont buy a toy is if it has trouble standing up straight. Kinda defeats the purpose of buying it if I can't display it because the legs are flimsy and can't hold the body. Bugs me if I have to keep picking the thing up off it's face >=(

What was wrong with his waist connector? Mine plugs in just fine and I got him right when the ROTF toys were coming out..

That's because there is no paint job, at least not in vehicle mode. Besides, I already stated I'm getting the Darksteel version of the mold.

Let's not derail this topic with one I've seen argued to hell and back, yes? :D

*sings an old Michael Jackson song - "you are not alone"*

Trust me, we are way more who thinks that way, the old saying about not arguing with people who bring you down to their level and beats you with experience comes to mind.

    Anyways, back on topic.

I think I am probably one of the pickiest members on this bord. I constantly pass up on buying TFs because of what other collectors call minor issues. I go for show accuracy, which means I constantly pass up on one version of a classics over another (usually favoring the takara release over the hasbro one, but not allways - Straxus, I'm looking at you)

That all the DOTM deluxe toys are 2 small to fit with CHUG and HA is too big. Get rid if the Mechteck weapons and put the plastic into the deluxe size.

I heard it had a lot of issues. The later versions do have a remolded peg. But obviously there was some variation.

I have had enough vintage toys with white plastic that has yellowed, that I tend to avoid toys now that have too much prominent white plastic.

I've been avoiding repaints/remolds as of late. I passed up Wheeljack and Thundercracker because I already have Tracks and Starscream. Looking to get Prime Wheeljack instead.
