Considering that we are in the Prime forum. It's not surprising.

    Two things
1.) Design: The shape of all the Transformers are amazing I would be just fine if they looked like this from here on in.
(It's what the moive guys should have looked like, It's much easier on the eyes, and it's better than blocky bots)
2.) The hope this show gets better. It has so many things that are almost amazing. It just need to go a little deeper.

Well, mostly everything has been said already.

The designs are by far my favorite. The voice acting and dialog are great. I admit the one liners are getting a little cheesy lately, but I do really enjoy the dialog, both in how it is presented and what is said. A lot of the things Megatron says is very.. dare I say, poetic. Just very well thought out and deliberate sentence structures; it makes it very interesting to listen to him speak, and I appreciate the more sci-fi terms they use in the series. I'm not sure how many kids will pick up on these things, but it makes it a much more richer experience to hear them using sci-fi and military terms that I'm not used to hearing in a "kid's" show.

Overall just the most interesting and likable incarnations of the characters. I also love (particularity in season 1) how there was a lot of character interaction, and I wish we had more episodes like Speed Metal where nothing serious is going on and we get to see the characters' personal life a little more.

The overall love and passion from all the people involved in creating this series. You can tell they love what they do and when you have that kind of passion in your work, it shows. I know a lot of people put Prime down lately, but aside from its flaws (nothing is perfect), the animators are having fun, the voice actors are having fun, the music is great, the overall feel and style just feels full of character to me.

Hell, there isn't one character on this show I hate. I look forward to seeing all of them because I think each of them offers something really neat and interesting to the series.

As others have said, the designs are pretty slick. Action is good. I think the biggest thing I like about it is the overall feel to the show is pretty laid back. There's not 20 billion side stories and they can usually focus on one story arc at a time. Small roster means lots of room for character development.

Well, I've tried so hard to like Prime I've made myself look like an idiot. Maybe I should just face the fact that I don't like this show. Hopefully, I'll stay away this time, as I won't feel like I'm leaving a huge part of my life. This time I've got TF comics. And I can still post in the game section.

But before I leave, I might just post some problems I have and see if anyone can counter the arguments.

The writing is generally bad. The stories are repetitive as the writers don't seem to know how to think plots that don't involve Mcguffins.

When they aren't pushing the reset button, they're making things worse for the Decepticons. Everything that's happen to Scream, Airachnid's in Stasis, Breakdowns dead, countless Mcguffins lost to the Bots and now the entire Project Iacon.

I don't like the characters any more either. Notable ones are the following.

Starscream: He's just comic relief now. And being G1 isn't an excuse, he was awesome in season one.

    Airachnid: stasis locked.

Arcee: They were starting to handle her revenge plot badly and now it's gone, she's been nothing but a generic bad ass.

Soundwave: After that 12 episode break from his minimal appearance, nothing they've done have been enough to make me feel like they're doing anything but wasting Soundwave. And he get's sent on one mission and he screws things up for the Decepticons. One Mcguffin at the cost of the entire Project Iacon! So much for him being "all seeing".

Edit: I may try again when Shockwave comes in. Perhaps they'll pull an Armada and suddenly become good halfway through. But I'm not holding my breath.

Well What's the bright side? That's my question. Is there anything good about this show other than things I don't care about like CGI?

Yes. However, as you have stated multiple times, these reasons don't change your mind. Quite frankly, I don't see why we should waste the energy to try once again to do so.

I find this to be my favorite TV show of all time. I believe it has an exceptional balance of terrific voice acting, fluid and detailed animation, superb writing, epic orchestra, and the toyline's pretty good too.

Though a lot of people disagree. Care I do not, for I love this show. Nothing will get me to stop loving it.

You expect to much I guess. prime is just another transformers show but has been brought the fortune of beautiful animation and voice work. I could say I like the writing but someone else would say otherwise. You asked for our opinions and you have received numerous amounts of them. This thread was stated to help you understand reason for you to like the. We gave ours and you apparently stayed for the time being. Now your back at this, you have a revelation " I don't enjoy this " make up your mind on your own because personally your only denying yourself this. so you don't watch prime? Ok, your still going to be on this sight and your still going to go through forums. Your going to get bored and come back to this. If this is such a large part of your life you'll find a suitable way to enjoy it on your own time because nothing we say is going to change your opinion. I'd suggest if it's hurting you so bad, stop watching the show. That is all.....will all kindness you could stick around and wait for the shocky-wave....or unleast until this arc is over..

Hey man, I think you have very legitimate reasons, although I think we all agree including yourself that you've tried too hard to like something you don't. And you really shouldn't. It's not proper to watch a show that you have to "wait for to get good." Why can't it always be good? And if you don't like what you're watching, quit, because when it does get good, at best you'll be left with a taste tinged with some bitterness regardless, or it'll sink back to where it was before. I wouldn't hold my breath for Shockwave being a game changer. I'm not a fan of the show, but it's right after Dan Vs. so it's not too inconvenient and it's not terrible if you don't take it seriously, despite how much it wants to be. You'll be pleasantly surprised when something neat does happen, even if it's thrown to the side right after.

We all respect your opinion. It's some of those reasons why I enjoy shows like Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead WAY more than Prime. But I still love, not like, Prime.
