While most Transformers spend their first cycles of life under the tutelage of a mentor, Megatron never had a mentor. He was forged to be a weapon for others’ use, and so, the closest thing he had to mentors were the trainers who taught him to kill. Unfortunately, Megatron took their lessons to heart and, not content to be anyone’s puppet, slew his trainers to seize control of his own life.

• "You Are Not The Sparktwin!", a show where CNA tests determine if twin Transformers actually came from the same spark. Known for outrageous reactions by twins featured on the show. Hosted by an alternate universe Rung. (I am aware this is actually a skit on a show, not the show itself.)
• "Meet the Cassettes", featuring Rosanna and her exotic pets. Almost got cancelled thanks to the disregard for cassette welfare.
• "My 600 Ton Life", a show about the personal lives of city Transformers and how they struggle to survive. Trypticon is most prominently featured and oh boy, is life hard for him.

Curiously it is said by some to have originated itself from one of the scantly-recorded pre-Earth alien encounters, though this is heavily disputed.

Meanwhile Osmosis Jones became super popular on Cybertron and its colonies.

- Transformers are even more scared of space-aliens than we are, hence why they almost all stayed on Cybertron until they got really good at space-travel (with the obvious exceptions of the Ark-launch and subsequent Exodus that marked the beginning of Straxus's 4,000,000 year reign). Those little probe/scanner things from #1? Yeah they stopped using them after a number got eaten. Also they're not that weather-resistant.

 

The anti-Transformation virus that BW Megatron used in Beast Machines was an old doomsday virus conjured up Shockwave, under the original Megatron's orders, during the Great War. It was envisioned as a potential last resort weapon in the case of a possible Autobot victory but never got used to resources being devoted elsewhere and Shockwave could never figure out to how to make it target only Autobots. With the Decepticons defeat in the Great War it became lost among the many safe houses/off-the-books laboratories Shockwave kept.

Until it was rediscovered by BW Megs upon his early arrival on back Cybertron, who gained knowledge of it thanks to his time he bonded with G1 Megatron's spark.

 

One quick question did BMW Megatron gain knowledge of the device or the safe house when he was bonded to G1 Megatron?

 

Bayverse headcanon:

Drift, formerly Deadlock, was once a disciple of Yoketron, training in the art of Metallikato. But he also worked for Shadow Raker, a nobushi thug under the command of the Shogun of Uraya, Bludgeon, helping them expand their territory. Yoketron eventually caught wind of this dark life which Deadlock abused his talents for, and banished him.

Thanks to the company he kept, he wound up a Decepticon and found himself still serving Bludgeon's dominion, now spanning across several star systems after the Exodus, and operated Shadow Raker's extortion ring on the colony planet of Klo. Sometime during this career, he learned that his former master Yoketron had been murdered by a bounty hunter named Lockdown, upsetting Deadlock for reasons he didn't yet understand. After failing to defend the territory he was charged with protecting from bandits, costing Bludgeon a stable source of fuel that kept his empire connected, Shadow Raker was ordered to bring Bludgeon Deadlock's head on a pike. Deadlock instead bested him in battle, but was now an outcast.

Having once had great power and influence and now left with nothing, he had no choice but to change his ways. Living powerless humbled him and he found himself respecting the weak instead of abusing them. He finally realized that guilt over dishonoring Yoketron had been eating away at him, and the fact that he could never redeem himself before his master now that he was dead drove him to live his most honorable life. Over time he garnered a reputation as an honorable drifting ronin who brought justice where he walked.

When he heard an open message from the leader of the Autobots to rally at a new world, he decided to make the leap and join his former enemies, and became the Autobot Drift. Perhaps it is pure chance, or perhaps it is fate, that he now finds himself facing that bounty hunter that murdered his master...

(I'd rewrite AoE so Lockdown survives and this would be resolved afterwards in a character arc that actually surrounds Crosshairs. Maybe I'll develop that more.)

 

In one Marvel future timeline where Springer actually became Prime after Rodimus, he was rechristened Ostaros Prime.

General idea is BW Megs gained a lot of knowledge only known to higher ranking Decepticons thanks to his bonding with G1 Megs.

Ostaros was Springer's original name in IDW.

I mean, Springer does seem to be Rodimus Prime's choice for successor, and as @Tetratron pointed out, I took the name from IDW.

 

The idea was that it was developed, and shelved, before Megatron and the rest of the Decepticons departed Cybertron to chase the Ark.

 

In one Marvel future timeline where Arcee became Prime after Rodimus, she chose her new name due to her status as the only female warrior of the Autobots and rechristened herself Amazon Prime. That one is a joke.

 

Yeah I can imagine that happening but I still see an issue with where BW Megatron Megatron Would fine the device or the records for it in his time period
