Oh...okay...gotcha...yeah, I don't follow or go bu the G1 cartoon strictly...I borrow from parts of Dreamwave and Marvel...so...like the Dinobots were "street-smart" underground Cybertronian pitfighters not earth born idiots...the Aerial- & Stunti- were born on Cybertron as well...but...much younger than the main guys like Op, Jazz, Prowl, Ironhide, Megs, etc....&...I look as -Plex & Trypt- as being reactivated & updated in the 2000s as opposed to being built then...

Its a mixture of the G1 toon and comics. In my head canon Skywarp was reformatted into Cyclounus. The TF origins are shrouded in mystery but the Quints did play some undefined role. Megatron is not the first leader of the Decepticons. Bumblebee is not front in center but Hot Rod and Springer are.

You think Wheeljack was mistaken in giving the Dinobots the minds of, well, dinosaurs? Oh no, he had it all planned it out. It would come across as a mistake, a tragic accident, those mechanical monsters rampaging and, ah, unfortunately killing off his competitors, his rivals.

And when the dust cleared, he would take over, enforced by his saurian minions, and rule the Autobots as he saw fit!

But it didn't work out, so he's grumpy.

I like to merge some of the other orgins of certain characters to match further retcons. The Dinobots where on Cybertron as a commando unit. Their personality components (retcon is now their Spark) where stored on the Ark and were used with new Earth built bodies. Now that a Brontosaurus doesn't exist and a T-Rex walks differently it makes more sense because the Dinobots alt modes were built with 1984's understanding of how dinosaurs moved.

I too go with the notion that Skywarp became Cylconus. It fits better IMO. Also, the Quints roles was AFTER Primus created the original 13.

As for Megatron, it's already been stated in the cartoon that Megatron wasn't the first commander. I believe he rose to power when the Decepticons weren't treated well by the Autobot High Council and he rallied the Decepticons to his cause.

recently , a scientist lead movement began to to "re-classify the Brontosaurus as real, after an extensive study published in 2015 by a joint research team of England and Portugal, which concluded that the Brontosaurus was a valid genus of sauropod distinct from Apatosaurus.

I see nothing about skywarp that makes him a better fit for cyclonus i like the rest of your ideas

Interesting about the Brontosaurus. Still, Sludge's dino mode is still the Brontosaurus of before. And Grimlock is based on the upright T-Rex.

As for Cyclonus, I think who he WAS is entirely irrelevant to the character he IS in Season 3. I think we as fans would like for it to be one or the other, but neither Skywarp nor Bombshell fit the character totally. Its caused great debate for years and personally I just happen to fall into the Skywarp=Cyclonus camp.

Spark is a small cell where Cybertronian equivalent of DNA is stored. (Like a zygote.) After the birth process is done, it doesn't do much work.

Outliers are some kind of X-Men: people with superpower (rather than people whose ability and alt mode are not matching). The Institute is a secret government organization which monitors (and hunts if necessary) Outliers.

The Horsemen of Unicron contains five members. The fifth Horseman is Catastrophe, who was formerly known as Predacon.
    This guy:[IMG]
In addition, the steeds that Death and Conquest ride upon are corrupted Battle Unicorns, while War and Famine ride upon drones modeled after Prime Sky-Lynx/Skystalker. Catastrophe simply charges into battle in Beast Mode.

There isn't. But considering that there are five Armada repaints, it only makes sense for all five to be Horsemen, even if it's not accurate to the reference.

I have never once thought of Cyclonus as an upgrade of an existing character. At most he's a new character built out of their destroyed remains.

My head canons are as follows

    Onslaught is proficient with swords
Hot Spot has a big brother type relationship with Groove
Dead End was a hitman before the war
Brawl is actually quite intelligent, but has anger issues

    That's it for now

That last one is kind of canon, at least in the WFC Universe. He's smart enough to be a Ground Commander, but he is really, really angry.
