    Skywarp toys seem to inconsistently come in two different shades of purple. Which is your preference?

    Whatever shade of purple this is. So ig purple 2 but a little bit darker? Although in the end I dont really care so long as it's purple purple.

    Yes that is Purple #2.

    I was looking for two pics of SW in basically the same pose. That was the best I could do, but the second purple is a bit washed out.

    I own Warpy on this shade.

    But I vastly prefer his G1 colors because they just compliment each other so nice.

    Shouldn't that be the other way around?

    It's funny but I like both purples. However, just for nostalgia's sake, I vote #2.

    Me too. I truly can't decide. Part of why I was curious what my fellow fans thought. Just hope HasTak never finds our or I'll end up buying 2 of each figure.

    I say add a third option for "both/all" and a fourth for "other".

    As to answer your question, those two purples imo are different purples (one is more red while the other is looking more blue) and that doesn't matter to me with Skywarp, but I prefer a more vibrant shade of purple to go against all the black on his body.

    ...maybe that's why I can't bring myself to sell/custom the FOC Skywarp?

    Personally, I think the black and darker purple looks better. Sometimes the purple can be too bright and it doesn't look right, IMO. But a Skywarp is a Skywarp and him being my favorite seeker, I'm not about to turn him away because a shade of purple doesn't look right. Especially if one version is easier and cheaper to get. (Classics 1.0 Skywarp vs. the Takara Henkei exclusive version at the time)

    The latter (#2) may be cartoon accurate and toy accurate, but having both the MP-6 Skywarp and the MP-11 Skywarp, purple #1 just looks better with the black to me. Actually, MP-11 Skywarp looks boring to me compared to the MP-6 colours: both the purple and the glossy black of MP-6 is imo nicer than those colours on MP-11.
