Personally I'd go with dinobot scorn. He has a good dinosaur mode, a good robot mode, a solid transformation, and effective paint applications.

So what's your pick for best AOE deluxe so far?

    So far?

Scorn is pretty much the leader of the pack.

    Hmmm.

They pretty much all needed paint, badly. After paint I've been most pleased by 67 Bee and Drift, but Scorn is nice as well.

Scorn, easily my favorite deluxe figure in years.

Scorn. It is the only one I bought. I hate the movie and I thought I would hate all the toys, but I saw Scorn for $10 and couldn't resist. It was not a mistake and is awesome. All the rest looks like crap though.

Since I still don't have Scorn, I'm going to have to say Strafe.

I like them all, but picking out just one, I'd also have to say Scorn.

I haven't taken Scorn or Slug out of their packages yet (too many other things going on), but Strafe is out and I am a lot more pleased with him than I thought I would be. My wife thought he was a cool TF, too. (This is not common.) Needed to dip the tails in hot water to straighten them out, but he looks great now. One of my favorites in any series.

Scorn is nice. The rest of the dinos are okay. I don't like any of the cars at all.

Tough choice between Drift and Scorn ...

My gut is telling me Drift.

    Slag.

I just can't pick Scorn because his hips are so terribly loose (I don't know why they didn't make the sockets a circle like most balljoints) and his waist refuses to peg in in both modes. It's still a nice figure. I guess I just got a bad copy of him.

Drift. I love both modes and his transformation is nice and straightforward. And he makes an amazing samurai action figure. He can do great poses, looks cool with the swords (I don't understand the hate many seem to have for them), and has nice weapon storage as well.

Cherry flavored Dinobot is my favorite so far. He's solid and fun all around.
