    Hello my friends

Please enlighten me to what your favourite ‘terrible’ transformers figure? That is generally considered a horrible figure (has a bad rep) but you love!

I adore FOC Bruticus combined, or in the split up into the combaticons… I just think it’s so cool either way.

but please let me know friends :)
    Thank you

    Power of the Prime’s Elita - 1.

Single best concept in Transformers. Bad ass jet air commander Elita who is at the core of Queen super mecha? Everything about this is all the yesssss in the universe.

    The figure itself? 4/10.

CW Megatron. Has the feel of G1 with his stiffness and awkwardness, but REAL WORKING TREADS, a commanding presence, and fantastic Headsculpt with great light piping.

Legacy Pointblank, apparently. I think he's great.

    G1 Triggerbots, if they count.

The entirety of the Cyberverse and ROTB manlines.

Robot Masters Starscream (weird arms and no knees, but that transformation tho)

EDIT--All but Starscream show up in my personal "Gold Standards" features here, for specific entries form the lines above (not trying to plug; just for visual illustration): Gold Standards = @another_time_tf

I have the Armada version of CW Megatron. I think it’s so badass scales with nothing else I have but I love the transformation. Looks cool too. Your description of it is peak I think both the standard version and armada are epic

Kingdom Tracks in that I haven't chucked him in the river like he rightfully deserves.

I can’t speak on pointbreak… but I love the mainline ROTB Primal and Optimus they rock…. Even the Rhino dude is cool. Cyberverse has some awesome figures. Bumblebee and Starscream come to mind.

    great choices though haha

I had him, ended up giving him away. I remember that some pieces wouldn’t tab or lock into place and I’d have him at a 95% car transformation. Otherwise a pretty cool figure. Good choice… but if you do chuck him. Make sure he isn’t able to return lol

SS86 Hot Rod might be the closest to fit this.

It's a terrible figure because it does so much right but then does so much wrong.

Looks great, great features, very interesting transformation, solid figure with little gaps and good leg articulation... but...

Terrible engineering for his shoulders that blocks very standard articulation range. Screws up the back of the car with a massive gap that looks unfinished. Sold at Voyager pricing when he's what deluxes should be like, with accessories that aren't enough to justify the pricing. If he didn't have these flaws, then it could justify the price a lot more.

So it's a figure that's truly annoying as so close to being near perfect and they screwed it up.

And on top of it, bad distribution so not an even one to obtain.

Earthrise Seekers, but I'm happy with them. Not bothered by articulation being as extensive as Siege iterations. Grateful to have started collecting before they came out.

I have some flawed faves to be sure:

Siege Apeface. Borderline ridiculous, but does what it’s supposed to do.

Earthrise Doubledealer. Very not great, especially those legs, but lots of charm, and somehow not cool enough for a repaint. Travesty.

Legacy Minerva. Not a good mold, and now used a bit. But outside of an LG-EX head, it’s the best I got for a bit. That I don’t need to transform.

Siege Megatron. Lots of small problems that add up to a not great whole. However. Looks the part enough to be my Megs. And they made the head on the ER one look so bizarre I don’t have to worry about replacing him. And the SG is amazing for the color palette. No regrets.

Are there flawed figures I can’t deal with:
    Kingdom Rhinox
    Kingdom Tracks/Road Rage.

What the hell happened when it came to the legs folks. Why on earth was this how it needed to go down. Infuriating is a great description for both.

The longevity is also concerning. There are several well documented break risks and the center of the torso is a sheet of transparent plastic that everything plugs into...

SS86 Hot Rod is damn impressive for what it is and I adore the figure but it has some very concerning flaws. I still wouldn't call it a terrible figure though.

So I don't have QC problems with him and figure is bad just by itself, and everyone has issues with this figure? I mean, I hate this plastic moron, I tried to sell him for 3 times and HE STILL ON MY SHELF.

I recently came to the realization that I might actually kind of like Kingdom Rhinox. Like, don't get me wrong—that is a terrible transformation, and one the ROTB Voyager nicely streamlines (highlighting how needlessly unintuitive and clashy it is); maybe the worst in my collection, and yet...weirdly kind of satisfying?

I think Rhinox might be my pick for favorite figure I actively think is bad, rather than one I actually think is good and people online just think is bad. See also: Beast Mode Bumblebee, a genuinely terrible toy on all accounts that I still enjoy.

Well that is why I phrased it like I did... It's terrible because it's got so much good, but yet, so much bad to prevent it being amazing.

Energon Grimlock and the later FOC Grimlock - both heavily flawed figures, and not surprisingly, SS86 has since taken over as my 'go-to' Grimlock toy, but I still find both incredibly charming in their own special ways.

Cyberverse Arcee - She gives Earthrise Arcee a run for her money in the "all the shellformery car kibble on the back" race, transformation is barely anything, and her plastic discolors like a muhfugger, but her cartoon look and proportion make her cute as all hell regardless.

Generations deluxe galvatron. A fiddly mess that keeps popping bits off in transformation but dang if i don't love that little gremlin. Awesome head with amazing light piping, pretty good range of articulation, does a full colour scheme swap from tank to robot without being a shell former and can be posed punching his fist into his hand as if ready for a fight and saying "come get some!"

I have the tokyo toy show version of armada megs. Robot mode is awful but that tank mode and the transformation itself is really nice. I keep trying to sell it but the tank mode keeps making me keep it so he just lives in front of my tv in tank mode permanently alongside gigawatt and the smaller jada toys kitt.

This might be controversial, but I'd say Classics Overkill. Looks incredible, especially in beast mode, but it has some of the, if not THE worst elbow and knee placements on a figure that recent. Attempting to get a pose makes it look completely ridiculous, but it's made of such a robust plastic that it's still fun to try.

SS BB Rumble is awful on every level but I'd charming to me in his stupidity.
