Who are your 2 favorite Autobots and 2 Favorite Decepticons in "RID" or "MTMTE" I gotta go with Cyclonus, Shockwave, Windblade and Nova Prime
Oh, in the comics? Rodimus and Ultra Magnus.. And Tailgate, Swerve, Cyclonus, Brainstorm, Chromedome, Rewind... etc etc... Overlord and the Misfits.
Swerve and Skids Misfire and Crankcase I thought I couldn't hate Rattrap more when I watched Beast Wars but his RID incarnation is worse. Prowl, Ironhide, Ultra Magnus, Blurr, Trailbreaker and Scoop all get honourable mentions.
In the comics...? Um. Megatron as Autobot AND Decepticon. And, um... I don't know. I like both ongoings, but I'm honestly not really attached to any of the characters. I don't know how that works, and I didn't really even notice it until this question was asked. Humm. Megatron is interesting, though.
Hmmmm... Nautica and Chromia. I'm biased cause Chromia is my second favorite character of all time behind Starscream. I also really like Nautica and wished they use her character outside of the comics and got her own figure, I just love her. Misfire and Spinister. I seriously wished their little gang got they're own spinoff series and appeared more cause they are too funny.
Nightbeat and Ultra Magnus. Space detective robot and space cop robot! I wish Nightbeat would get a bit more "screentime", and it'd be nice seeing him in a semi-serious mystery story. I also love Magnus's whole "Mantle of the Immortal Lawman" shtick. Anything besides "Optimus's albino brother" is great, really. Thundercracker and Soundwave. They're both great anti-villains. I really like both their characterizations in the comics, especially with Soundwave's history of being a psychic robot hobo. Cyclonus probably would have made the list somewhere, but I think he counts as a NAIL.
Rodimus, Cyclonus, Swerve and Galvatron. Tried to name some bots without much thinking. Otherwise I could not pin it down to only 4 bots. And technically Cyclonus is a NAIL. Although this is considered deragotary to say. And I have to add that my view of Rodimus suffered a bit over the course of MTMTE. Some have explained it might be, because they put Megatron, a War Criminal in charge of his ship and quest. But I don't know... from what I read before in IDW and also his depiction in the past was much mature than this. I hope I can admire him once again in the future. He's by far my favorite bot, cos he looks cool, is red, which is my favorite color and has flame deco. And a cool sports car. Also he's cool when he's not acting weird. But sometimes his weird acting is what's cool.

Swerve is my spirit animal...he's basically me but as a Transformer so i'd have to pick him for that. I also love Megatron (Beast Wars), Shockwave (TFA), Hot Shot (Cybertron), Rodimus (MTMTE), Prowl (IDW), Starscream (Prime), Thunderblast (Cybertron), Optimus Primal, Optimus Prime (TFA), Bulkhead (TFA), Jetstorm (Beast Machines), Jetfire (Cybertron), Blitzwing (TFA), Hound (AOE), Warpath (G1) and Cyclonus (MTMTE).
From the comics? Starscream, Soundwave, and Windblade for Not-RID/Windblade. For MTMTE? Most of the characters are great, so picking favorites feels like a disservice to the other great ones. But I can't get enough of Cyclonus, even though Ratchet is "officially" my favorite, as well as my most consistently favorite character across the franchise.
