A 2 1/2 story Victorian home circa 1906. The boiler was 80 years old. It worked for 80 years... died before we had even bought the house. They bought us a new one, but I was sad to see the old one go. It looked like a bomb from a steam punk movie.
This passed Friday: Turkey Lactaid Hungry man Ice cream vanilla Steaks Soda Tomatoes Onion Bread called bolillo Ruffles cheddar and sour cream yesterday: 6 candles 2 potatoes A bunch of bananas Bag of oranges
Congrats! I don't even want to think about new car shopping with how recent events impacted that, so all the more impressive.
A "gamer" mouse & keyboard set. I got tired of lag on my main wireless keyboard. Lag is not what you need when you're trying to type five thousand words a day or so. Now my home office sounds like I'm using an old-school typewriter, due to the mechanical switches on the keyboard, but it's lightning fast without a single pause. And the mouse is killer, with different DPI settings. Should have done this a long time ago.
It was not a fun experience. I was shocked that they had the car I wanted on the lot. But the dealer was rather nice. I was shocked. Luckily I was paying cash so the interest rate rise didn't bother me. I did finance in the end because Hyundai was offering 0% for 36 months.
Speaking of this topic and cars, just came back from getting replacements for my two front tires. That may be my Black Friday budget, but at least I can rest easier when I go back to work after this upcoming holiday.
went to a Dollar General earlier tonight and found and bought the DVD documentary about the wrestler Iron Sheik. It was either that or Fast Times at Ridgemont High
It's the most I've spent on a pair of non work shoes! But I also paid less than the usual going price of about 105-115. Really wanted to treat myself to a spendy pair of shoes!
The price of quality shoes is insane, but you got a good deal and sometimes we need a little bit of retail therapy.
