3-day early bird admission (which was last Saturday, hooray for pre-registration ) for a anime convention in the first weekend (3-5, got Thursday the 2nd off so I can pick up my 3-day pass) of August
Bought some new furniture, only to have Ashley screw up the entire delivery and hijack our entire day in the process. We were told the truck with our items would arrive between 8am and 12pm. We even received a confirmation text at 7:50am. Well, 12:30pm rolled around, so we called to inquire the status and were told that our order was cancelled because of an overload... with no communication! I blew a gasket and the rep. managed to get our order onto another truck, but then, we were told that it would be from 3pm to 7pm. Ultimately, the truck didn't arrive until 8:45pm. The kicker is a customer rep. lied to us and told us that he would give us a gift card for our trouble and inconvenience. He said that he would text the confirmation number to us. We received no such text. We tried to follow-up with customer service, but they all said they had never heard of the guy who supposedly spoke with us, which means he gave a false name. NEVER deal with Ashley Furniture. They will steer you wrong. I should have read their reviews ahead of time. Out of 400+ reviews, they received a 1.2 rating out of 5 stars.
