So I'm heading to Comic-Con in the next week and I'm looking to pick up a Veritech Fighter while I'm there, but I'm not familiar with the Macross toy line. I'm looking for the basic Veritech Fighter from the original show with a good transformation (no parts forming), Skull 1 paint theme, and about a $60 price range. If there is anyone out there with any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

For $60 and no parts forming only Bandai mold is available (the G1 Jetfire mold). You might be able to find a Yamato 1/60 scale (from 6 years ago) VF-1s, but they utilise parts forming.

If you're willing to spend more (around $100) you can get the new Yamato 1/60 series VF-1s, or maybe even a loose Yamato 1/48 ones.

You'll be hard pressed to find a good Macross VF-1S Roy for $60 these days.

But for all your Macross needs and questions, visit The Macross Thread - TFW2005 - The 2005 Boards. Very knowledgeable people in there who can help. :D
