If you look at the bottom of it there is a hole and a couple of pegs that look like they should snap on to something. Has anyone figured this out?
Never has there been a more useless accessory. I don't use it on bot mode and it makes a sort of helipad in base mode but not particulary necessary. I really want to know what it is for... Of all the things they could have given us they gave us this thing which looks like it does something but doesn't. They could have given us a FM hand gun, a tower top turret etc. Please explain.
Its a leftover from the Metroplex mold. They could've at least adapted it to attach in base mode like the original turret on G1 FM did.
I have Metroplex. Unless they took something from Metroplex and heavily remolded it, it did not come with Metroplex. Still a mystery. *edit* I stand corrected. Its part of the flip out gun on the shoulder. Lame.
It's a government listening device, obviously. It's just a dumb little thing packed in for the titan masters.
It is not obvious how it works for titan masters. There are pegs for them to stand on but there are pegs on fm himself to do same so no great advantage. Ok it is something that attaches to FMs leg but it really should have doubled up so it could do something else! It could have been a hand gun, it could had more 5mm pegs and ports on it so you could do more to it, it could have had an opening so you could stuff stuff inside it. Yes it has those weird attachment holes remolded on the bottom from a metroplex part which doesnt connect anywhere on FM which is crazy to have reused because the rest of it is all new - why keep it just that attachment? Still hoping it has some amazing use which might be revealled but no i sadly i think it will remain an odd not very useful lump of plastic.
Unattached from the leg, you can put Max's twin turret gun on top of it to form a small manable Hovertank for Emissary. It's sad due to budget (or whatever the real reason) that they didn't have it utilise the redundant hinge to make an opening compartment, even if there wasn't the budget to make a proper cockpit/seat detailing inside it could have been used as a Titanmaster 'Jail cell' in a nod to G1 Max.
The little block with an CW Air Raid/SkyDive twin blaster is what I refer to mine; makes its a better tank.
the sad thing is, the body of it wouldn't have taken too much remolding to snap into FM's arm when the cover is open as a wrist blaster.
This mysterious device is probably what's rattling around in my Fort Max box. Guess I'll need to finally open it to find out.
