    I'm officially calling Bullshit.

    Drift has not been seen in any trailers or sneak peeks, nothing.

    I'm wondering what Bay is planning, if he is after all.

    Drift dies early on? Maybe he is on a solo mission? Or he is a complete mystery like the Four Autobots from DOTM? Hmm.... Any thoughts?

    He is seen participating in the London car chase. At this point there is at least 2 hours of the movie we haven't seen. He'll be in the movie.

    He was briefly shown in car mode in the IMAX preview, it's not much but it's enough the confirm him for the movie.

    I think Optimus is going to kill him as the 'Optimus really is evil' moment. As a kind of callback to Sentinel prime.

    Or maybe they are just reducing his screentime, hard to tell.

    Same. Why didn't they just make him a Bugatti Chiron? Not that different to a Veyron. His robot mode looked much better as a Bugatti than a Mercedes.

    His robot mode may have been altered specifically for that reason. From what we can tell so far, he spent a very long time in Japan.

    It's just the how the concept art depicts him. Until I see him in Action during a scene of the movie, he looks sort of overweight tbh.

    I like this fan made concept much better. Could even have the flaps on the helmet fold down and interlock to form a face guard in combat, giving him a ninja look.

    Maybe they are managing his screen time due to ken watanabe being ill of late. It could be a strategy on minimising his workload or drift could have some epic parts that are too spoilerish for trailers or tv spots. Myself I'm curious as to why his facial design is very close to how they've done quintessa's both seem to be visually inspired by or have visually inspired earths past cultures. It's probably not even a thing, but I'm still hoping there's something to it.....
