    So... basically the current DC animated films?

    They are fun, if somewhat Bat-centric so far.

    Maybe a couple years ago I could've seen Disney tapping that keg with Incredibles 2 or even a stand-alone Frozone movie, but with so many live-action superhero film franchises out there now, they probably wouldn't want to risk killing the goose that laid the arc-reactor-powered egg.

    Marvel and DC seem all about the live action lately so I don't think we would get an animated film universe out them.

    But maybe some other animated series would work as an animated movie universe.

    Well, Sony is making an animated spider man film for theaters, depending on how well that does, if could trigger the beginning of an animated mcu

    What if we don't? It's not gonna happen. People dont go to the theater for animated movies unless it's pixar. I'm not gonna pay theater prices for an animated kind of movie that I've been getting live action since before 2008
