I've noticed the ridiculous poll in the Ultimate Fate of Starscream Thread and it hit me that since Bay is an ass, he might killoff Starscream in some unrecognizable and careless matter. Kinda like Jazz. I'm sure that would piss Screamer-fans off. Especially me. Examples would be his deaths in Animated(at the end) and G1. My question is, what do you think?
Bay's favorite character is starscream he revealed in a early interview before the 1st movie, So that wont happen lol.
Favorite? Really? That isn't the vibe I got from ROTF......... What is with directors not being able to pull off their fav. characters? Just look at Filoni and Plo Koon from SW The Clone Wars!
The one Decepticon that will continue to survive to fight another day is Starscream, he'll always find a way to leave at a perfect time to return stronger.
Yeah, my first thought was that wouldn't happen since Screamer is Bay's favorite. Not saying he's untouchable because of that, but if he dies he's going to have some epic scene.
Wrong. Starscream was never Bay's favorite. His favorite in Movie 1 was Bonecrusher, and his favorites in ROTF were the Twins and BB.
It would be funny if megatron gets killed then falls on starscream and crushes him THEN in typical bay fashion they blow up for no reason XD
Given that Bay was saying reboot about any 4th film and they love killing off Decepticons in droves with these films a part of me say it will be some lame one shot kill like Blackout or Devastator for Starscream. Then again there is also the excellent point that two films in a row now he's found just the right moment to slip away so there is always that odd chance he will be last Decepticon in the entire universe.
Starscream will probably die from being shot by some experimental human railgun that just showed up spontaneously... No wait, they wouldn't do that, that'd be just stupid... They would have some human drive under him on a bike and shoot him in the crotch instead.

No first bay would have the rare reformat of his robot mode which will incidentally look like a G1 incarnate then he will just kill him with a single shot from a some stray citizen with a gun and they are shooting in slow mo while jumping from a roof to take aim. Because of the slow mo the bullet is obviously more special and more deadly accurate. Which then SS head explodes causing the body falls mercilessly ass first on top of a piece of bizzare corporate plaza art and the art some how resembled mojo and it would look like it was violating starscreams corpse repeatedly as it rocked back and forth If I have understood the previous two movies this is the obvious next big step for Bay in his "artistic direction"
