Was never revived. what if he didn't save the day, do you think they would have won the battle in Egypt. what if megatron's dotm plan was still in effect and optimus wasn't there to decapitate and fornicate the faces of the decepticon forces. Would cybertron still have been brought into orbit. Do the movie verse autobots need optimus.
We don't know if all that 'only a Prime can defeat the Fallen' thing is true. For all we know, it was just a pile of horse manure that the Fallen spun to hype himself up.
I feel like Prime's death was a serious missed opportunity to show the other Autobots fighting and functioning without him - sidelining them in ROTF was absolutely stupid, as was not giving them any fight time in Egypt before the miracle ressurection. But given that Prime and Bee were the only two with significant screen time and got more fight time as well, it comes across like none of them could function without Prime and that the group would fall apart - which, realistically, shouldn't be the case.
Knowing how you are an Ironhide fangirl as your sig states,I bet you'd want to see Ironhide commanding the team. Sigh...I would too
If Optimus was never ressurrected, The Fallen would utterly curbstomp every single Autobot alive there single-handedly, except maybe Jetfire [due the whole "ANCIEEENT POWWAAAR" thing].
You know the obvious answer so I don't see the point in this thread. Plus Megatron's intentions are all over the place. Did he want to extinguish the Human race (maybe a Plan B) or enslave them to restore Cybertron (Plan A). What about destroying the Sun? Now add Sentinel Prime into the mix to enslave a now extinct race. I know they didn't predict future plots (which IMO they should have have day one - outline the 3 movies they wanted to make) but things should have been cleared up.
