Beast Wars seems to be on the rise, meaning there looks to be money made.
MMC is the only third party company that still makes CHUG figures. They seem to have been slowing down, but this could give that line a much needed boost.

Oooor they could continue to keep pumping out stuff that works and has been selling haha xD

I’d love to get a pretty complete line up before reformatted moves to something else. You never know though.

Their IDW MTMTE Ravage doubles as a homage to BW Ravage, if you haven’t checked it out yet.

I dunno if the idw specific versions need be referenced. I think people would be happy to see BW toys in general in any form more regularly from mmc.

With the supposed Beast Wars movie coming I almost wonder if hasbros next big focus is going to be a major BW toy line resurgence.

I would like to see some dreamwave designs taken on and done well. Some of those characters' artwork is super cool.

Honestly their Idw stuff has lacked in sculpt while being pretty pricy for what are essentially chug figures. I’d rather someone else do it.

I'd buy them. They'd make up for the overpriced, super-fragile, too-screen-accurate MPs (I mean, no textured fur?!). Give me a whale Tidal Wave!

Season 1 is being covered by Takara and TE-01, while Jiang Xing is covering Transmetals. There are no current CHUG Beast Wars figures, besides the cheap Cyberverse figures. This would take out two birds with one stone. IDW is their thing, and covering a section of Beast Wars would be an intelligent move. There are some people who don't like the Beast Wars designs, meaning this wouldn't turn those people away.

I just want more legend scale beast wars, and more MP sized ones based on show characters.

I just want Toyworld or Transform Elements or Iron Factory, but ultimately all three of them to commit to a legends scaled BW line and start pumping BW toys out instead of letting them come at a creeping drip.

That's what a lot of us are hoping that'll happen but given how so stubborn and addicted Hasbro is to dishing out G1 24/7 the chances of them eventually moving to catering to the Beast era crowd or any other TF crowd for that matter are slim to none. But we'll ultimately see. That being said 3rd parties are looking to be more willing to tackle the BW era one way or another which is cool but there's also the issue of not everyone can afford such products.

It's pretty weird to find this thread, read it and then realize that less than a year later, hasbro announced kingdom...

    Funny how things work

Yeah Reyn's comment about "no current BW CHUG" made me do a double take because I forgot Kingdom wasn't a thing yet.

Tell me about it. It was around that time where I was REALLY convinced that Hasbro won't even make so much as a mention of BW's 25th anniversary let alone make a Generations line themed around it but now look where we are. Not only did we get that last year but I've also gotten a comic and a movie themed around BW next year. Things are REALLY bright for BW fans now and I wouldn't be shocked if MCC does eventually get around doing BW characters in the future in general not just from IDW.
