    Given what we were given, (which may have been a corporately-dictated plot point since Cliff has now died 2x across the TF Mythos in TFP and now BB) ,probably not.

    Then again, if he wasn't knocked off, he could have been one of those Earth-bound Autobot refugees at the end of BB. I would have LOVED to have seen an updated version of how Cliff was badassly introduced back in '84 (that desert scene with Hound);)  . . .

    Sadly, the concept of being an educated consumer (in many cases) has drastically gone the way of the polar ice caps, way too many times. . .
