A couple of UK shows come to mind:
    - 60 Minute Makeover. Host Claire Sweeney left the show. Then one day Peter Andre was hosting. Da f***?!
    - Wheeler Dealers (car fixing & then flipping for profit). Edd China (mechanic) made way supposedly for a relatively younger Ant what's-his-name. Not knocking Ant, he's a master mechanic. Edd though was less compliant with co-host Mike Brewer which made viewing enjoyable.

Lost In Vegas-A YouTube reaction/review duo that I first found accidentally when searching for some old Megadeth music videos. Their reactions felt honest and genuine. As they became more popular and made the attempt to turn their channel profitable (nothing wrong with that), they changed the basic formula that made their videos enjoyable. I unsubscribed from their YouTube and Patreon and haven't gone back since.

I've stopped listening to various podcasts and singers/bands due to their "beliefs and views" on certain topics.

-I don't listen to satellite radio anymore. Too much redundancy.
-I rarely ever watch any TV since getting rid of cable. Now I only watch things on Netflix, HBOMax or Prime.
-Stopped eating at my favorite pizza place after finding a German cockroach in a Stromboli, and being told it was probably just in the box.

Eating- Beef. Too heavy and unhealthy. I'll have a steak MAYBE once a year to celebrate a special occasion.

Watching - CW Supergirl. Became too preachy and political, and personal agendas shouldn't be pushed in superhero shows. Flash- became nonsensical and unwatchable.

Following- a certain popular cosplayer (not going to say her name). I met her in New York and she was really nice, but after seeing some of the things she posted online, it was clear that she was an arrogant, nasty human being unworthy of being followed... and I'm sure that she bought a great deal of her followers.

At work when I’m bored, I’ll hit up reaction channels for shows or animes I enjoy. I drop and block any channel that drops a series partially through because it didn’t get enough views or whatever. If you’re 10 or 15 eps into a series (or more!) you’ve got people who were following along over a long period of time that just had the rug pulled out from under them. If you do it once, there’s a good chance you’ll waste peoples time again.

WWE. I stopped watching wrestling for like 7 years because of college and work. Got back into it in 2013 or 2014 consistently (my kids got into it too and we would hit up shows together). When my kids outgrew it, I lost some interest. Then the shows were too repetitive and a better alternative came around (AEW). I don’t really watch anything from WWE now, though I catch a YouTube vid here and there.

Politics. I know we don’t talk politics here, but it’s something I was passionate about and dropped. I will try to be vague

I used to read and watch so much news, argue online, get involved locally…. And just gave up. I was hardcore on the right when I got out of HS (way I was raised). Went pretty far to the left after college and real-life situations that put those right-wing ideals to question. Wound up legitimately in the middle. Sat through the propaganda, arguments, and rallies of both parties. Every bit of passion for it has been snuffed out of me as I get older. Nothing ever improves. The same issues/arguments/situations constantly repeat for both sides with everyone disingenuously pretending like it’s the first time it’s ever happened for the sake of outrage (editing out examples/trying to be vague). The people that try to claim That any of the last three presidents have made any kind of substantial improvement to the country have been insulated in an echo chamber of like minded people and propaganda that can be easily picked apart with experience. The worst are those images on social media with the “list of accomplishments” that both parties love to make. Where half of the examples fall apart with even a little bit of context. A lot of my life changes tend to happen around election years. Engaged in 2004/Married in 2005. Moved into my current house Jan 2017. My last three cars were bought in 2008, 2016, and 2020). I have very specific time stamps in my life where I can compare grocery bills, gas prices, health costs, etc… and can see that both sides have exaggerated that shit GREATLY as they try to take credit and shame their opponents. I’d see a policy argument take place and then take place 5 or 6 years later with both parties arguing the polar opposite thing they were saying five years prior. Often the same exact commentators and politicians…. The more you study history and politics, the more futile it all is.

For a long time I wouldn't buy on eBay because they forced buyers to sign up for PayPal and I stopped selling there when they forced sellers to hook up a bank account.

I don't buy Famous Amos cookies anymore because they're a nameslap now.

I stopped reading Slashdot when they removed anonymous posting and stopped reading local newspapers when they removed reader comments altogether.

I won't buy a Unicomp keyboard since they inexplicably flipped the right Windows and Alt keys for no reason.

Damn I hate it when food manufacturers change recipes/formulations, especially if it's a favourite staple of mine.

A few years ago McCain deleted their Crunchy Hot Bandito Wedges. I stocked up the freezer.

I stopped watching Cartoon Network after Ed Edd n Eddy ended and they started doing a bunch of live-action crap.

I got out of Star Wars for the longest time, only recent got back into it with the last season of Clone Wars.

I stopped eating PB&Js for the longest time because I had just gotten sick of them. I packed my lunch each day for school with a PB&J (hell no I wasn’t eating gross school food) and so eventually got sick of them.

This is gonna be an old one, but
    Spider-Man the Animated Series (1994)
Around the end of its run, Spider-Man the Animated Series was hitting a low point in ratings, and the three or four other other Marvel cartoons of the mid-late 90s weren't doing so hot, either, so what did they do? Crossover event! You'd think that'd help, but then you'd be wrong. The story went to bizarre places, and the ham fisted insertion of the other Marvel properties (which would've been something to look forward to two decades later) just Sped up the inevitable.

Honestly there's nothing on TV I care about anymore. Besides some limited series on various streaming services I'm kind of done with Television. The last thing I tried to follow was Doom Patrol but I couldn't even finish the first season because the weird stuff stopped being interesting and just kind of dull.

And really, I've slowed down with Transformers as well. Just not happy with where the franchise is right now, the movies don't look good (I don't believe ROTB is going to be able to right the ship, not under current management), and I'm largely bored with all the G1 rehashing. I've gotten back into model trains and frankly I think I'm much happier with my money going into my early 50s transition era engine fleet.

I've been off meat for about two years now, and I can honestly say I don't miss it. It's funny that while it took my mom a while to really get it (my grandma still asks if I'll occasionally have fish or ham lol), now when I visit, I've found that my mom has found ways of making vegetarian versions of some of her meals exclusively for me.

I stopped drinking iced tea and sugary sodas because I learned that it increases your chances of getting kidney stones. And of course too much sugar and caffeine is bad for your health all around.

I had a heavy iced tea drinking habit. I would drink large amounts of iced tea at lunch and dinner and times in between. Iced tea all day, everyday.

I had a wake up call on my physical exam a couple of years ago. My blood sugar was getting too high and I was in danger of developing diabetes. I cut out as much sugar in my diet as possible. Same for salt. Simply trying to avoid sugar and salt as drastically changed my eating habits. I cut out all kinds of stuff because of it. I only eat out one or 2 meals a week.

The thing is, after a time, I don't even miss any of that stuff. I can't even tolerate drinking sweet iced tea anymore. It tastes way too sweet for me.

One of my favorite dishes at the restaurant I used to work at. I'm not exactly sure what was in it but I broke out in hives all over after finishing it. Terrified. I'm not going to repeat that, so I stopped eating it.

Haven't drank soda in several months, and I honestly feel a lot better about it. I'd rather just drink water.

Feeling pretty much the same. IDW's about to lose the license (though that's probably for the best, given what I've heard about both continuities), there hasn't been a good Transformers show since Animated, the only good live-action movie was a spin-off/prequel/reboot, the next live-action movie probably won't do well if Paramount's financial situation is to be believed (and I believe it), and the toys just aren't that good to me anymore. Fuck, what I wouldn't give for the franchise to have a Unicron Trilogy-style reboot.

I stopped reading Marvel comics after the MCU avengers movies came out because suddenly the comic characters became more like the movie characters and it wasn't fun anymore. Therefore, I stopped buying marvel merch/comics, stopped watching marvel cartoons.

Chipotle Cheddar Cheez-its after they changed from existing to not existing.

On the subject things that don't go in the "discontinued items" thread, I don't follow the MCU as a whole after Endgame. I just don't think it's worth it anymore. It seems like they're actually trying to incorporate Disney+ shows into the movies now. Which might sound good to people who are interested in those shows, but to someone who generally isn't it just means I'm going to find it increasingly hard to follow the movies. Endgame was a good enough ending point for the MCU as a whole, and I'll just stick to seeing a few movies here and there that specifically interest me. I'm not bothering with trying to stay up to date on it anymore.
