At the end of AoE Optimus blasted off into space carrying the seed. What happens to it? Will it be mentioned? Will it be used in TLK?
I wonder, based on Lockdowns willingness to just hand one over to America, if the seeds are particularly important at all in the grand scheme of things. Prime just took it away like a parent would lock a gun away from a child.
If Optimus was a little smarter, be would combine the seed with the matrix, and create an army to plow down the creators.
They didn't just hand it over. They sent a notorious intergalactic bounty hunter to offer it as payment for Optimus Prime. Not exactly small potatoes.
Yes but, if the seed was a threat or of considerable rarity or value to the creators they would have suggested a different deal. Otherwise it would be like America offering Afghanistan a state of the art nuke in exchange for them helping some US Spec Op commando rat out bin laden. I reckon the creators have bags of seeds!
Ha, well i have no idea, but they still shouldn't hand them out to unpredictable entities. I think a seed is more equivalent to a cruise missile or something! I don't know, you're the army guy!
I really wish we can completely forget about Transformium since they're like midichlorians.... An unnecessary explaination on how things work. I just assume the Creators pick up the signal of the seed and that's how Optimus finds them. And then the Creators take that thing out of his hands and we don't have to hear about it again.
I imagine Lockdown and the creators wouldn't care about the humans using the seed as it wouldn't really cause them any damage. It could however cause damage for the humans, it was basically a tactical nuke, one that could possibly be used multiple times. It could even be that the creators wouldn't mind giving humans the seed just so they could blow themselves up with it, then they come and collect whatever transformium is created with it.
Optimus took it to where it can never be found by giving it to Leo, Mikaela, Maggie, Glenn, Sideswipe, Dino, Twins, Roadbuster, Topsinm, Chromia, and Jolt. And they must try to keep it away from Garbage Truck Con and Barricade led by Igor.
Lockdown used a cyberforming device as a grenade. Heck, it seemed to be specifically designed as a grenade, which just seems unnecessary, when a regular grenade works as well or even better. When the Creators hand this stuff out to Bounty Hunters who literally throw them away (when they're about to explode) it's safe to say they don't have a shortage of them.
I'm not sure what a tactical nuke is capable of blast wise, but if memory serves me right they had to deploy many seeds on the surface of earth just to cover a valley in transformium....so that explains something in itself
He fused it with the Matrix to create the ultimate McGuffin, something so powerful it can't appear in TLK.
