What happened to Fans Project and Maketoys?

    I've been out of collecting for a while and just got back in. Back when I was still collecting, 3rd party groups like Fans Project and Maketoys were the pinnacle of the 3rd party. Fast forward to today, they are nowhere to be found on any new products of TFCon reviews. Whatever happened to them? Are they gone for good? Has anyone taken up the mantle to release products that Fans Project was going to make but has since seized to release any new products?
