In my opinion i'd say Startropics 1 & 2,Legend Of Zelda 1,Rockboard (That one Megaman game,But with more levels & Characters),Megaman 2 (MMPU2 Of course.),& Spyro 1 (Dunno why,i guess with new graphics by Insomniac if they can do it.).

I dunno if this counts, but they need to make a 3-D Pokemon RPG (no not like coloseum). Just a Pokemon RPG game with 3-D graphics and maybe a new battle system.

the early NES Megaman games, but I would like it to be done in nice hi-res sprites as opposed to 3d

A REmake of RE2 would be amazing.

I'm not sure if any need to be, really... for most of the vintage games I still hold dear, there's the emulation option (apart from the few that are currently unsupported/difficult to emulate)

^THIS. But instead of the trademark Pokemon battle system, I'd rather it switch to where you actually control/play as the pokemon in use and use different simple button combinations(think super smash bros.) to perform attacks.

In short, when playing as a human use the game play of LoZ:Ocarina of Time, when playing as a Pokemon use the game play of Super Smash Bros., but set in 3-D. That way, instead of having missed or ineffective attacks from a turn based fighting rpg, you just naturally miss hitting your opponent or use an attack against them that is useless. Plus, you could use items to heal yourself during battles and do all sorts of other moves like flying, swimming, digging, etc.

Sorry, but the whole take turns rpg fighting gets boring after a while and most of the time can just be a waste in watching you get your ass handed to yourself by a more experienced/higher-leveled opponent. By fighting like in a fighting or adventure game, there's still that small chance that you can hold together and pull through in the end rather than base your success on numbered stats alone. And because it's more fun to brag about killing some huge boss after going through the majority of the fight with only this "-" much health left.

When playing as a human it would be MUCH more fun to actually have to explore the land (think shadow of the colossus) like entering a city and then running off into the nearby forest to actually run by trees, jump across rivers, and climb over rocky hills to eventually come across and find Pokemon (instead of just running through grass and suddenly having your screen flash and battle music start). The search would seem more rewarding and if you caught said Pokemon would be well worth the trek, effort, and time spent.

It would be interesting if you actually had to control your swimming/flying Pokemon and swim/fly to another city if you as a trainer commanded it to do so(like taking a car in GTA and driving it to get to another part of town). It would also be neat if you could send your Pokemon off to search for items or more Pokemon(think overlord and sending off the minions). Even better if you yourself played as one of the trainer's pokemon and had to do side missions for him/her(again, think GTA).

^there's just so much untapped potential to what they could do with those Pokemon games because for all these years it's been the same exact style of game play and even though it always worked, they never tried anything new like a sandbox type game in 3-D.

They should just do it. Even if it isn't successful, what's one stinker among many hits? The great thing is it could be done on the Wii or even the DS. The Pokemon world map isn't that big yet anyways.

Besides, all the new Pokemon games are just sequels or re-hashes of old games. Now granted, some of the re-hashes like FireRed and LeafGreen were fantastic, but that's only because their originals could not do as much on the Gameboy as they could now do on the Gameboy Advance. Other games though, just seem like you're playing the same game from a year or two ago but only with *NEW POKEMON!* and that is stressed as the only incentive why you the consumer should by this game. They're kinda getting to be like Sports games. New game each year buy it's basically the same game from last year except it only has a few more things the previous one didn't. No major improvements to really call it a sequel or a new game entirely.

And yeah, if they did make a game like what I described above for either the Wii, DS, or both, then I would buy the systems (both even if done on both systems) just for that game alone.

They can't let you "play" as the pokemon because of the size difference. And some Pokemon, that have no real moves. Like the the Ghost Bug thing.

It wouldn't make a lick of sense seeing a Weedle take on an Onix in anything but turn based attacks. It barely worked in Stadium.

I'd want to see Wing Commander 1 & 2 be remade. Both those games used 3D sprites for the space combat and it was really unusual. It's not like it messed up the games, but from playing X-Wing, Tie-Fighter, Wing Commander 3 and then going to WC 1&2 made it seem strange. Actually sense Wing Commander Privateer used sprites as well, I'll throw that into the mix too.

Love to see a Shogo:Mobile Armor Division sequel or remake too.

Sense I'm installing it right now, and getting fricken errors, Deus Ex, so I can run it on my machine! *grumbles*

Oh yeah, a 3D person shooter of Crusader:No Remorse.

Sure that battle seems every one sided, but what about an army of Weedles fighting an Onyx in a Pokemon side mission? Lure the Onyx into a lake or river to weaken it and then take it out?
Kinda like how in the very first episode, Pikachu took out an entire group of Spearrows with one shock during the lightning storm which supercharged his attack and power.
Wild Pokemon fighting wild Pokemon, no trainers, no rules, use the enviorment to your advantage, anything goes.
