I know that several Psuedo Classics figures were released under the movie line.

What do you consider some classics figures that are in your collection that are under the movie line?

    Some I consider are.

    Space Case
    Flak
    Powerglide
    Lockdown
    Guzzle
    Skyhammer
    Seaspray
    Bludgeon
    Tomahawk
    Terradive
    Breacher
    Hubcap
    Incinerator
    Mindwipe

Which do you think would fit in nicely?

I had Tomahawk last week but sold it to my friend for $8 bucks. Also sold him my Hubcap as well. I should pick those back up. I have Breacher but need to free him from his Plastic prison. I should do that today. I have never seen Incinerator before he looks awesome!

I also want to say Movie 1 Wreckage, Movie 1 Evac, ROTF Breakdown, and ROTF Brawn. Some of these designs are more of a hybrid anyway. Their styles can fit more than one universe in my opinion. It's all going to be interpreted differently.

    seaspray/deepdive, bludgeon/banzaitron.

all the rest are waaaay too movie aesthetic for me to include with classics.

I thought it was more or less confirmed that Seaspray was intended to be apart of the Classics-verse line - he just happened to be put into some offshoot HFTD packaging due to being a Voyager. Plus, like Breacher, there's nothing about his design aesthetic that is even remotely Bayformerish.

Most of the ones already mentioned I would consider Classics-qualifiable (except Incinerator, he's simply too super-detailed for me to be able to put him with my classics Deceptcions, same goes for Powerglide who already got TWO Classics releases under Universe). I would like to mention the Mudflap repaint at the tail end of the Movie 1 Allspark line, though. It was a repaint of the Cybertron figure, but it's a near-dead on match for Erector, who he of course serves as in my collection after I gave him some Autobrands.

The chicken legs and the scuba mask are the two most common complaints about why HFTD Seaspray should not be considered Classics material. That, and the people who are dedicated to having their old mini-bots remain horrendously out of scale alt. mode wise to have them in-scale bot mode wise.

And now for a little fun fact for those of you who don't know the story about Bludgeon: The figure that was eventually released in the ROTF NEST subline was in fact originally conceptualized during Energon as a samurai robot with a tank alt. mode. He'd originally been planned for the Universe line, but when Hasbro said no more tanks in that line (while at the exact same time releasing ANOTHER repaint of Cybertron Def. Scattorshot in the line after Dropshot), he got pushed back to the movie line. That move might have actually been for the best, since movie toys probably got better budgeting and so allowed for Bludgeon to become the epic toy he is.

True. Well, contrary to the kind of quasi-movie packaging he was released in, he's definitely on my Classics shelf. And I absolutely prefer his new Voyager size over some tiny outdated minibot size.

Bludgeon is a really tough one imo. One day I think he's better suited to the Classics line, then another day I think he still looks "too movie". If any figure is a hybrid design that bridges those two series together aesthetically, it's definitely Bludgeon.

Don't forget the repaints Breakaway (Getaway), Fracture (Crasher), Big Daddy, Crankcase, maybe Grindcore.

And the real Flak is the one that doesn't go by that name, Universe Overload.

Bludgeon, Seaspray, and no one else. Bludgeon is literally a Universe 2.0 figure that was released during the ROTF line, and Seapray was only put into the Yellowbox line because generations was only packaged as deluxes.

The only thing we know is that Hasbro has indicated is that the original design of Seaspray was classics. That does not mean they could not have taken the original design and partially movi-fied it.
