you mean like for example the suggestion of repainting Universe Sideswipe/Sunstreaker into Counterpunch.

Or do you mean just calling a figure a different name like calling ROTF Sideswipe Tracks or Silverstreak? Or calling
Energon Downshift Wheeljack.

if you mean repaint remold, then sideswipe into punch counterpunch, starscream mold into the sunstorm and purple rainmaker, and a few others that i can't think of right now

 

I'd like to see the Optimus protoform figure from the first movie made into other protoform TFs. They'd have to give him a new head though (possibly a new chest too, but at that point it'd probably be more sensible to make an altogether new mold).

I thought so too. But the protoforms were pretty bad shelfwarmers so it we'll have to wait and see.

Protoform Starscream would be an easy one for repaints, because some people are always looking for more seekers. Interestingly, it may already have an alternate head mold. The head on the back of the pack does not match the one on the toy.
