I honestly have been wondering this for some time aswell, I heard somewhere he did something for certain tracks. Maybe like, galvatron is online, I don't remember which exactly.

 

I heard he did some robotic sounds.

 

It IS pretty interesting that both Skrillex and Celldweller did work on the movie yet there's been almost ZERO follow-up about the end results.

I remember reading the thing about Dinobot sounds specifically, too...but I'd imagine the work they each contributed basically boiled down to providing the sound mix team (and probably Jablonsky) with interesting, crazy sounds to use however they wanted.

Skrillex and Celldweller are both great and HIGHLY recommended, btw!

Yes, I'm pretty sure IGN reported that he was doing the sounds for the Dinobots and was possibly working with the sound design team.

 

He did both sound effects and bits of the score. You can find a short video about it on YouTube.

 

Wasn't there a video on YouTube about them doing it? I remember them having miles of wire going through all sorts of different circuits and devices trying to manipulate the signal to get the right sound, and thinking shit I don't feel so wild having an 11 pedal effects chain anymore  , It could well of been another part of the sound team, but the vids there somewhere.

One thing about these movies, they do sound good.

Skrillex is a lie perpetuated by 'young people' to confound 'old people'.

Young people drop Skrillex into conversation/discussion and then the inevitable 'older' person will ask 'who is Skrillex?' and the younger people titter to themselves.

In other words 'Skrillex' is a hoax made by younger people to make older people feel bad.

I am pretty old and I LOVE Skrillex, I just got into his stuff a couple years ago, he is the Kanye of Dubstep
