I got the dvd today and i finally saw the infamous cloverjolt!!!!! He has a sickass robot mode, but what is his alternate mode? Its obviously a huge thing with wheels

 

Maybe it's a Stryker?

 

it turns into an american apc like the ones on mw2 not the ones with threads the ones with wheels

 

I can't wait until we get some concept art, or a toy, so that stupid name can be put to bed.

 

Is a Stryker big enough?

Length: 23 ft (7.0 m)
Width: 9 ft (2.7 m)
Height: 8.5 ft (2.6 m)

Compare to Bonecrusher's Buffalo MPCV:
Length: 27 ft (8.2 m)
Width: 8.5 ft (2.6 m)
Height: 13 ft (4.0 m)

Granted I'm not sure how big the Cloverfield-looking Con really is. I don't think the few scenes he popped up in let us properly size him beyond "big."

Why couldn't Bay/Co. just use this modeL instead?

THe DOTM "stryker" bot was way too slow, it would have been the perfect time to use this character.

I think this is it....I just don't get why people calling him that....it's like calling Optimus "Big red truck" it makes no sense.....

Isn't that one of the big 'Cons in the ROTF game? You know, the ones that have flamethrowers and fire missiles at you.

I personally think a Stryker is kind of small for Cloverjolt. He was like the size of a house, or bigger.

Look at it... It would be big enough if 2 Strykers combined. There are versions of the Stryker with a cannon on it but only 1 cannon. That bot has 2 cannons in front so... maybe its 2 of these combined.

I'd say he turns into one of these massive Russian missile trucks, ya'know, the ones that carry the Nukes...



Look, it has eight wheels, and on clover jolts back is what looks to be a missile split down the middle or two missiles, which would still make sense as some of these trucks can be configured to carry 2, smaller, missiles. His cannons could simply be Exhaust pipes, or it could be one with a multiple firing tube attachment.

 

I'm betting that he's some kind of artillery/muscle truck, judging from the cannons on his chest, his size and the number of wheels on his arms.

 

I think this is definately it. Cloverjolt was probably in Russia with Shockwave or something and scanned this

 

I don't know about everyone else, but a stupid name like Cloverjolt is really killing how awesome this design is. What was wrong with Clovercon?

 

People have been calling him STRYKER or RUMBLE, "clover"jolt makes him sound like a panzy.

 

he is called Cloverjolt and Cloverbot and clovercon because he resembles the monster from the movie Cloverfield

 

I still say he is 2 Cannon Strykers combined. A Stryker has 8 wheels and the cannon version has a single cannon right. Well Clover bot has 2 cannons and 16 wheels 4 on each of his 4 legs look here.
