I can tell that some people here are not fans of them which I understand. I wasn’t either since the old ones did look ugly that was until I saw they got progress. There is a rumor from an Instagram account named anerdydad that had a bunch of other leaked figures. One franchise that is on the list is Transformers.
Here are the leaked figures:
Optimus Prime
Bumblebee
Defensor
Megatron
Soundwave

I definitely hope that these are true. Leaks from Funko are true 95 percent of the time and there were other Hasbro properties that were leaked like G.I.Joe and something called a Glo Worm before this was leaked so there is a chance this is true if Hasbro is giving their properties.

 

I wouldn't mind them. Might pick up a few if it's true.

 

It would be cool for people who like Pops. I despise them, but good for other people.

 

Won't be buying. I hate Funko Pops with a bleeding, purple passion.

But I'm sure funko fans will have fun.

Honestly, unless it's a Transformers character that I can't get ahold of normally (Mistress of flame, Verity Carlo, etc. ) I don't think I'll grab them. That rule applies to all my funko purchases.....reminds me, I should check on the status of the Shantae one, lol

If they make a Shockwave I’ll buy it.

 

Defensor makes this an easy debunk. If the list was just Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee and Starscream I could see it being true, but Defensor is a dead giveaway of fake.

 

Which is a shame since he was the only one on the list I'd likely buy. If they made the combiners and some niche characters it would be neat. I have too many of the other mainstays in the line.

 

If they do release funko pop transformers and they do release a combiner it’ll be Devastator. He’s the most recognizable and marketable to non-fans.
