    Hey guys and gals

I'm just curious what everyone does with all the extra stuff that comes with 3P figures or any figures in general? I'm the kind of guy who tries to keep every box to everything I buy and right now am sitting almost a full wall stacked like Tetris blocks of boxes. I usually only take out of the box what I'm planning on displaying or whatever doesn't store stays in the box.

Do any of you fellow collectors have a system for sorting? I have so many collectables sometimes I look at accessories and have hard a time finding what goes to what now cause stuff is just everywhere! and I want to have some sort of filing system for all my bits and bops just in case I ever need to sell or store stuff for moving ect...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

    Boxes in the closet.
I keep the original boxes for anything I think I might eventually sell.

Same, except I've keep all my boxes regardless. The boxes are starting to take up more space than the collection, though, so I'm thinking I might have to come up with a new plan.

I rarely buy any figure anymore that I think I'll sell.

Rare Ones that I do, I keep the boxes.

As for accessories; plastic baggies, etc. and then said plastic baggies in a nice clean neat box :)

My original plan was the same as yours, but as you know, space is limited. To make room, I tossed all the boxes of figures I am keeping forevers, unless it is vintage 80's.
It is still pretty ridiculous in my closet full of boxes.

I store all the boxes in a closet.

I store all the accessories in small boxes to facilitate the access... and then I store the small boxes in a container.

Ziplock bags in a drawer. But I regret not labeling them and keeping every figure's items separate. Sometimes a baggie contains two or three figures' items. I do have the baggies segregated by type like Combiner Wars, Iron Factory legends, MMC, Masterpiece, etc, but that's about it organizationally.

I don't keep the accessories in the box because the boxes are all stored away inside giant ziplock bags in a closet so I don't want to bother having to go through that just to get a weapon or alt face or whatever.

Just dump them in a cardboard box and store them somewhere safe. When I feel like changing my display, I'll look through the box and choose something.

Based on how I store them, I can see the outline of a Death Star.

And then mail it to myself and when it arrives smash it with a hammer!

I keep the accessories I might use in MP-10's trailer and all the rest stay in the boxes. I keep all the original boxes because it seems like the safest way to pack them when I move and, even though I can't imagine myself selling them, I can't completely discount the possibility that I might actually grow out of playing with toys someday. Like I dunno, in my 60s or something.

I keep the boxes of my third party figures, and all of my figures accessories/instructions each in individual Zip-lock bags. I keep the card/back of box for my mass release figures and toss the rest of the packaging.
