    Nah, Unicron's probably the largest threat in the TF universe. If Bay was smart, he'd save him for the last movie in the series...whatever that will be.

    Maybe it's not directly Unicron, but the Quints wanting to awaken him. If Unicron is Earth, waking him would be instantly catastrophic to Earth's inhabitants. If awakened, it would also doom all Cybertronians.
    There's a common goal for humans and Cybertronians (including Megs), to stop the Quints and keep Unicron dormant.

    I could see that horn thing being one of the Knight ship's spiers, if it went down over the desert. Except the ship went down in the waters of China, supposedly.
    So how would one of those spiers end up in an African desert?

    Just because it's pointy, doesn't mean it's one of Knightships arms. The design doesn't match at all. More like an ancient sanctuary we didn't know about.

    Fair enough that it doesn't match the arms of the knight ship. Which has gotten me to wonder...if this isn't the knightship, and the underwater spaceship isn't the crashed knightship (doesn't appear to be)....what has happened to that damn thing? Wasn't it suppose to be important to the future films (and yes I know that was said before the writers room was created).
