Possibly Deluxe United Stepper. the mold is great, and he may just have the singular best paint job in TF history. Maybe.

Seige Jetfire'd be up there, overpriced though he may be. Neve thought they'd eb able to pull off an animation style Skyfire - Especially looking at how bad most of the KO company versions were. T30 Springer gets disqualified for "best" by me for being a QC mess, but he's still pretty great. i've never owned him but MP Soundwave looks like he should be up there. Trypticon would be a contender. The BB Movie Optimus. (wish i'd grabbed him when i saw him one time!).

while i wouldn't put him anywhere near the best, the was a fun little mold that always feels underrated (Huffer was cool too)... although, technically, didn't PCC come out last decade? (i thought they were ROTF-era.)

utterly shocked at how many folks have mentioned Siege Optimus. The sheet of plywood strapped to his back and ridiculous alt mode instantly disqualify him for me, before even talking about the goofy smokestacks, no matter how "Sunbow" (and good!) he looks in robot mode. Or Siege Starscream with the off model tetra jet alt mode, spectacular level of over-detailing and alt mode and robot mode that can be achieved separately because they are 2 completely unrelated halves. I rail against this mold a lot, but it kind of makes me angry with how poor it's execution as a Transformer is.. I'll never be convinced they couldn't AT THE VERY LEAST made the legs convert into the nosecone of the alt mode.

I feel like there's gotta be a weird intersection of recency bias + Sunbow G1 bias combing with the amount of love this line gets. And i'm not totally hating on it, i think it's got some impressive molds, but it just doesn't seem to deserve the crazy level of hype it gets.

I started out by picking the best figure from every line to help me narrow it down. Really none of the PCCs could make it into any "best of" list, Smolder kind of got in on a technicality. PCC was 2010, so it depends on whether you count 2010 as the start of this decade or the end of the last one. Since he's asking the question at the end of 2019, I included 2010 figures to get a full ten year sampling.

Before you start calling another board member a fool--

The original post in this thread says nothing about a figure or design, so if I think AOE/TLK OP is the best TF of the decade, it's a personal choice.

I really wish this website would quit it would that nonsense. Most people don’t understand that this one website has some users that use blue text to indicate sarcasm. It’s not widespread and is just confusing.

It’s one of three for me: MP Megatron, UW Devastator, or Siege Jetfire.

Never thought we’d see any of them the way they were presented. I’m still in awe over Jetfire. I’ve wanted this toy since I was a kid.

One through five, MP-32 Optimus Primal is the most impressive Transformer specimen of the decade. :)

This has a very wide scope so it's very difficult to name just 1. For now, to me, it's DA-28 Striker Optimus

    • Builds on the ROTF mode with retooling for DOTM but goes further in having the most accurate(arguably) factory deco of all movie trilogy Primes
    • The retooling and additional weaponry didn't seem shortchanged like some of the other Takara retools I have
    • One of the last leader figures made with the solidity and size of the Cybertron era
    • A little less complexity than the ROTF leader making it for a less tedious transformation

Oooh, trying to remember everything that came out over the last decade is a nightmare...but my top 10 would probably have to be:
    1. Optimus Primal - MP 32
    2. Rhinox - Generations Voyager
    3. Optimus Prime - Studio Series 38 Voyager
    4. Springer - Generations (IDW) Voyager
    5. Soundwave - Hasbro MP
    6. Jetfire - Siege Commander
    7. Overlord - Titans Return Leader
    8. Jazz - Reveal The Shield Deluxe
    9. Vehicon - Prime RID Deluxe
    10. Sideswipe - Siege Deluxe

    Honourable Mentions:

    Titans Return Kup
    Prime RID Wheeljack
    Siege Voyager Optimus Prime
    Generations Deluxe Waspinator
    Titans Return Legends Seaspray
Hunt for the Decepticons Leader Starscream
    Studio Series 10 Deluxe Jazz

My pick goes to LG Arcee. The most long overdue figure.

That Stepper is definitely one of my favorite CHUG figures.

HFTD Breacher. Fun, articulated little figure with a complex but fun transformation. Not to mention his head sculpt is just one of my all time favorites.
