What do you think about some of the ROTF figures not being so humanoid?

i agree. Capn Deathwheel is the bee's knees. im ESPECIALLY loving Rampage's two little legs and whip arms. I'm excited to see how odd Hightower is gonna look

    Absolutely awesome.

Aliens shouldn't be just man dressed in cartboad box costumes or in gundam suits, a centaur or scorpion monster there and there brings the game to a whole new level.

Variety is the spice of life.

Bipedal humanoid proportioned TF's ; great ! But some variety to that is certainly better ; it's broadening the mind to be more open to more than 1 single narrow aesthetic.

I'm happy too. Demolishor impressed me from the start, and I like the look of the Arceebots; the Constructicons (that we've seen so far) all look very impressive to me I'm also pleased with Devastator's appearance.

Makes perfect sense too! Bipedal forms may not be the optimum form given a particular bot's function. I don't even mind the wheel-bots!

Not really my cup of tea. It's sort of like the less human looking they make the robots the harder time I have connecting to them. I think someone once said that G1 and some of the later series had a knight quality to them and that's sort of what stuck for me.

Yes I know even from the very start many many moons ago we had Transformers that didn't change into a human shape but that's what made characters like Ravage and Laserbeak different and special.

I'm not bashing anyone's like of the less human designs just saying it's really not my thing because it just doesn't appeal to me like other looks have.

They are alien robots, how much of a connection do you need?

Not bashing, just would like to know more of you POV.

All the same, I'd like to see in the future a batman begins approach to transformers, where we get to see them how they looked in he 80s

That's funny, the Batman Begins films have that same complex, realistic sheen: CHUD.com criticized TDK Batsuit for looking as 'busy' as our cinematic robot friends.

I like them for the most part, The arcee botsa re the only ones that i'm really not too hot on just because they look like the t-100 after gettin blown to hell at the end of t2 which doesnt seem practical, its like choosing to go to war on a unicycle when you could of taken a car..

the wheel feet guys i do really like, the way bonecrusher skated was just awesome cant wait to see what sideways does with them, and the more obscure bots like rampage and demolisher i think are really cool, refreshing

As far as how they look onscreen I don't have a problem with non humanoid designs but I don't think they have translated into toys very well, the fembots and Demolisher look bloody awful and Rampage isn't much better.
