I really liked the Animated approach to the character. Just another soldier in an army.

Same token, what about a team of say, five Primes?
But not like the "original 13" Primes, the mythic, god-like beings.
More like take the Prime team set-up and make everybody Optimus variations.

Sorta like Animated Starscream's clone army but not all the same design. Five different ones of varying sizes and powers, with a female.
They wouldn't be Primes in the traditional sense, the leaders or main characters, but more like a special missions strike force that makes appearances occassionally.

And in case something like this has been done I haven't read any of the comics past issue 23 of the original run.

 

Emirate Xaaron,he was working hard on Cybertron for 4 million years while Op was sleeping so he deserves it.His body would be bulkier and taller so he has the physical might to match his intelligence,plus his helmet woud be more regal crown shaped .His upgrade to a Prime will allow him to transform again into a tank.

 

Just to see the fight with Trypticon would be worth making him a prime  

 

Knockout, Predaking, or Waspinator. That would be epic.

 

Grimlock.

 

Hound or Beachcomber.

 

NAh it's be a good idea. Give him more of a role in the group.

Sunstreaker...

He'd be renamed Vanity Prime & his yellow paint job would turn into pure gold. He'd stay the same height & size but the duel turbo engines on his back would sprout wings... sorta like Tracks. He'd make Sideswipe the general of his armies & take MoonRacer as his Queen B. Also like Tracks, he can fly in car mode but at sonic speeds... leaving behind a trail of falling goldust. The Autobots would be reduced to being his yes men... pampering & complimenting him at his beck & call, catering to his even larger ego. The new age of Sunstreaker Caesar has begun... lol!!!
