What aspects of the old Movieverse should be carried over into the new one?

Some voice actors, other than that: bloody nothing. Bayverse was allowed to rise and fall upon its own merits and design philosophy. Knightverse should be allowed the same opportunity.

Honestly above all I want them to maintain the quality voice acting and casting: Every single one of these movies has an incredibly strong track record when it comes to voice acting. I really appreciate how for the most part they didn't lean into celebrity stunt casting, and went for veteran voice actors like Jess Harnell, Charlie Adler, John DiMaggio, and of course Peter and Frank. And when there were larger name actors on the voice cast, they actually had significant voice acting experience, like John Goodman and of course Leonard Nimoy, and even Hugo Weaving.

Dig the bayverse design. Hope they don’t just ditch it as a whole.

This. Good voice acting is something that you take for granted until it's not there - looking at you, Cyberverse. (I don't know if Cyberverse improved after season 1, but season 1 had some really bad performances, Optimus especially.)

    1. Score.
    2. The action of atleast the first 3 films.
    3. Spectacle, albeit sparingly and at the right times.
    4. Inventiveness of designs, think ROTF.
    5. Good voice-acting. Lord knows that, outside the movies, voice acting quality has gone down the drain over the last few years.

The tendency to dig into obscure villains
    - The Fallen, a comics only character from Dreamwave no less.
    - Sentinel Prime, another comic character who had just recently debuted on TV
    - Lockdown?! Who would have thought!?

Gives me hope that Sky-Byte might have his day.

All these people saying "nothing" thinking they're cool :lol .
Say what you want about the movies but the score/soundtrack, sound designs and voice acting were exceptional.
Maybe some of the spectacle? None of the baysplosions though.

Except voice-acting is not something the movies invented. Frank Welker and Peter Cullen came from the cartoons. So yeah, I want nothing from the movies.

Or some of us are tired of it/never liked it and want a clean start. Even Bumblebee still had a little too much Bayverse for my liking.

Ah well, hopefully the upcoming Beast Wars movie will delight its fans with its story, designs and voices.

Please don't put words in my mouth. I never said voice acting was invented by the movies.

What bayism did Bumblebee have in your opinion? Sector 7 is what firstly comes to my mind.

I didn't say you said that. You said you want the voice acting from the movies to be retained and you're making fun of people who were saying we want nothing from the movies.

I just reminded you that voice acting from the movies were pretty much lifted from the cartoons minus the crude Michael Bay dialogue.

It seems like that's what you implied. The voice acting from the movies, how well it was done, I want that to be continued. My statement has nothing to do with the cartoons.

Like I said, good Transformers voice acting is not exclusive to the Bayverse, so those of us saying "none" is valid.

Why is it so hard to believe people want a fresh start? I like a lot of things the movies did but I don't understand the fixation with the idea that whoever comes next MUST pay homage in some way to the choices Bay made 13 years ago.
