So I’ve been kind of hit or miss with a lot of the Siege stuff as what I’ve been primarily looking for are missing characters from my collection while also still picking up a few better versions of existing characters I already have. Sideswipe, cliff jumper, Ratchet, and Blue streak are great as I didn’t have versions of them. Astrotrain, iron hide, wheel jack, hound, and Mirage were all upgrades over my combiner wars/titans returns versions. I kept Prowl and Smokescreen though as I liked the CW versions better. I also passed on Jetfire, Omega Supreme, Shockwave, prime, Megatron, springer, and Ultra Magnus due to having versions I preferred already. Will likely pass on Sky Lynx too (due to having a third party one, not the voyager CW version.)

So to me, the upcoming titans return Scorponok is probably the biggest missing piece so I can complete the main 4 city bots.

After Scorponok, I’m hoping we get the voyager Coneheads. I love the classics ones, but they are just too small. Plus the welcoming committee using the new Earthrise seeker mold would be cool.

Recolored “clone” versions of the legends Insecticons (in the red/black scheme.). Would be a nice generations selects bundle. And maybe versions of the deluxe sized insecticons (in particular Venom since I have 3rd party version should of the other three.)

Although I also have third party Quintesson and Allicon figures, I’m still looking forward to the Hasbro versions to augment my Quintesson army.

Just curious what others are waiting on/hoping for?

G1 animated colors and homages. I hope to see:

•g1 Ironhide and Rachetvdone correctly
•Elita one deluxe scale with a car mode
•Blaster
•gobots incorporated into the mythos starting with a cartoon accurate Crasher

 

New charecters, value for my money which means figures that actually match what I am paying...ahem LEADER CLASS.
Its pathetic that they charge the same for Optimus and Astrotrain.

Toys that are fun to play with without being frustrating to transform.

As for certain themes... start steering clear of 84-86. Even 1987 is almost finished. They’ve been done to death and most have been done well. Move on to 1988 and beyond. More Unicron Trilogy updates as they have very different takes on many characters.

 

I can tell you what I am not looking forwards to.

G1 redone again.
$400+ Masterpieces.
Increasing figure prices.
Shrinking figure sizes.
Difficult-to-read instruction booklets.

I would look forwards to anything other than those things.

In all serious, I really want more non-G1. Even if it's G1-esque versions of non-G1 characters, like Barricade showing up in Siege and Lugnut showing up in Generations (and Cyberverse).

 

The remaining toy/comics/cartoon characters from G1/G2/JG1 that haven't ever gotten an update/toy to get one, and then have updates of characters from other continuities, and to also have new characters mixed in (hearse Transformer when?). I hate that there's this association of G1 fans and wanting just the old Sumbow crew to be rehashed forever. I'm a G1 guy but I want as many characters as possible from everywhere, just with the older/brickier stuff getting priority.

 

What is your grail piece?
