Just wait until you play Infinite Wealth where you actually train Sujimon and have them battle in a tournament.

Like A Dragon was such an amazing experience. Even after having played the previous 7 titles before it in one continuous fashion, LAD still managed to make the game feel fresh and innovative.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, finally nearing the end but now I don’t want it to end. Damn it all, fell in love with Aerith just like in Remake.

    Character is too damn good.

Oh i plan on getting IW. But $70 is a lot right now. $15 for LaD was an easy buy though. Will last me a while. Still got GTA V to get back to, plus lots of PS+ free games i redownload. Plus i can redo Red Dead Redemption 2 again.

Armored Core VI. Some missions are going really easy, and some battles feel like a major uphill battle, taking multiple attempts. I believe I am near the end of Chapter 1. It can get tough at times, but overall I'm enjoying it.

More Yakuza Like a Dragon. On chapter 4. Just finished the mission helping the girl with the elderly father the yakuza were going to euthanize. Tough battle.

Also a few fun side missions and random goofiness. Ran into a guy with a newborn. We heard a crying infant and decided to help. He got blankets, i got hot water for formula. We bust into the place to help... and find grown men dressed as babies. :lol  Fight ensues. Defeated bad guy then gives new dad advice. Bad guy and i celebrate over bottles of formula.

Helped a bum build a bookshelf for a kid who is nice to him. Helped stop kids mean dad and gave him life advice.

my first use of Poundmates.. oooh boy.

    i love this game.

At the risk of pissing off the RNG, doing pretty well - one of my better Priest runs so far, even if I am playing as slow as a slime mold. Cracked open a minor Vault and just picked up the +Strength gloves and +Speed shoes, which will be quite handy. Only four unique baddies down, because most of them can still handily blap me. Likewise, big stick weapon because in no combination can I get the STR and DEX to get multiple swings with anything at all.

Finally made it to the home stretch of Rebirth.

Game is so much better when you stick to the combat and story, fuck these never ending mini games.

Played more Yakuza. Discovered and played the first level of the Cinema minigame. Dear god lord that is randomly weird. Basically you find a theater that plays older films. But the seats are so comfy and the cold air and boring films put you to sleep. The owner loves these old films so you don't want to upset him and try to stay awake. You start to drift off and need to fight off sleep goats. They pop up and you gave to hit the proper D-pad or X, O, Square, Triangle button. Very weird.

As much as I love Yakuza Like a Dragon, it annoys me too. Basically some of the mini games are not really explained well. The Wealth Management stuff. Board Room I had no clue how to do it. Luckily i saved before i did it and could close the game and reload and keep trying. On my 4th attempt i finally sorta get it and passed. Will skip that for a while.

But still lots of fun. Saved a crawfish from being lunch. Now he is a summon helper.

This is the best goofy ass game i ever played...

Went back to Dragon's Dogma 2. Just fought a Lesser Dragon atop a high tower, as I am needing to collect Wyrmfire Crystals for a researcher in the Beastren kingdom. Very few things can stand up to a Greatsword. The dragon was no exception.

I love the combat in this game.

Done with Final Fantasy X. The final dungeon is decidedly underwhelming, as are the final two fights (the second to last boss at least looks cool though), but the story parts are excellent.

Now on Final Fantasy VI (or III since I'm playing the original version). I'll be the first person to admit this game is overrated, and in some ways it hasn't aged that great, but nevertheless it's one of the crown jewels of the 16-bit era. While it's not my favorite FF game (I'd rank it 4th, after IX, VII, and X), it's a great game and deserves to be considered a classic.

And admittedly, there's a nostalgia factor for me. People who weren't playing JRPG's at the time it came out can't truly understand how momentous this game was back then.

I'm in the opening part now. I love the intro where the three Magitech Armor units are marching toward Narshe through the snow with that wonderful song playing. And the way you just obliterate all opposition when you arrive really shows what a threat the Empire is.

I didn't play VI until 2007 when it was on the GBA and I consider it to be the best in the series. Even without any nostalgia, the story was absolutely amazing and took twists and turns I did not see coming. Not to mention Kefka became my favorite FF villain. It helps that he is the only villain who is actually the villain from start to finish and doesn't have some secret boss controlling him that is revealed at the last minute or something.

More Yakuza. Helped a masochist find a dominatrix. Had a chuckle during it out side of the storyline. I am watching the cut scene bit and in the background a random pedestrian turns into the alleyway walk a bit, sees what is going on and turns around and casually walks away. Just noped on out of there.

...I'm taking the great plunge into the forsaken lands of Elden Ring for the 1st time. I was worried I'd not find an immersive RPG again after witcher III boy was I wrong. And speaking of Witcher III it's obtained MOD Immortality this week on PC.

Playing Fallout 4 right now and it is fun. Currently have 5 or 6 fatmans and 8 or 9 fusion cores and around 13 sets of power armor but not enough stations to store all of them. Currently doing a bunch of the side quests and just exploring the map to get stupidly overpowered then go do the main quests and just be stupid powerful. Also got an NCR ranger armor and Wheezer radio mod.

I pre-ordered Tears of the Kingdom last May, and I finally beat it yesterday. Wasn't necessarily trying to 100 percent everything, and even though it's an absolutely fantastic game, I got pretty burnt out because BOTW was still fresh in my mind. I don't believe I've ever taken that long to beat a video game. I don't think I have any interest in another open world game for a long time ha ha. Beautiful ending though.

More Yakuza. Working on smaller things. Need to grind the dungeons for a while. Also working on bonding. Love the stories for the side guys. Some are heart warming some are funny.
