I just finished playing Dead Space for the first time and kicking myself for not playing it years ago!

Jurassic Park Data East Pinball with my wife today. Both trying to get a new high score. She was so close to beating one of my scores!

Got the Cowabunga Collection for Xmas. Beat the original arcade game & then took a crack at the original NES game. I’ve never had the chance to play it, but it’s reputation as a hard-as-nails game is well known, so I wanted to test my mettle.

I don’t know how long the game is or how many bosses there are, but I was surprised that the main bits I always see were right at the start: rescuing April from Rocksteady & Bebop & then the infamous dam level. Haven’t gotten past the dam yet, but got pretty close before calling it a night.

So far though, I’m enjoying it. It’s a nice change from all the arcade style games.

    Twilight Princess

I gave Zant an ass-kicking that was sixteen years overdue (damn, that felt good!), so now it's time to make Ganondorf cry again! Let's rock!

And it's over! Ganondorf is defeated! Hyrule is saved, Midna has been restored to her original form and has returned to the realm of twilight! What a fantastic ride!

Transistor. I can now see where some of the game play ideas from Hades came from. It's a very cool, very neat game play experience. It's a linear experience so far, but in a good way. Harder than I thought it would be, too.

I started God of War Ragnarok today. It's cool so far, but really just more of the same. In fact, so far it's playing off the same story beats as the last one. Have an opening mission, unwelcomed Norse god arrives, big fight occurs, Norse god leaves, now you have to venture out to fix whatever.

Bought Jedi: Fallen Order and Ace Combat Maverick Edition because of the PlayStation Store sale. Fallen Order started pretty slow. I didn’t think there was enough action compared to the puzzles but I think I’m about halfway through the story and it’s making up for it.

    Lego Star Wars Skywalker saga.

Probably one of the most polished Lego games I've ever played, it's pretty awesome and nostalgic since the Lego Star Wars games are super nostalgic to me.

River City Girls 2. I love this game. Played it at a friend's house til after 4am, and was too tired to drive home, so I crashed there. Then woke up at 10am, and we quickly resumed playing.

Made me feel like a kid again.

ARK Fjordur. I’ve played ARK off and on with friends for years, but I finally got around to building a new PC and it looks like a different game now. What surprises me about the game is how I never really get tired of it. There isn’t really a well-defined point to the game…just grinding for resources, building stuff, exploring and coming up with stupid stuff to do. Lol. The maps are impressively massive.

Just finished South Park Stick of Truth. Took me about 18 hours to finish it with about a 95% completion on friendsa and Chipokimon and about half of all the costumes and weapons.

All I can say is don't play this game when kids are around. When your shrunken character is having a boss fight with an underpants gnome while your parents are having sex...I mean...dear Lord.

I'm trying to replay DOOM 2016, but I'm in that depression state where I have to force myself to even do basic things, so it's not going well. :|

I lost my last life in Dracula's Curse, so I started over and used the HELPME code.

Just curious, which path did you take? The direction you take when the path branches can affect the difficulty. For example, the path where you meet Alucard is the hardest, since it has more levels and starts you at the very bottom of Dracula’s castle.

BTW, how did Super Metroid go? Did you complete it?

I took the paths to Sypha, and lost against the pirate ship boss.

I haven't picked up Super in a while.
